WUGU SN-1 Flight Rudder Pedals, Multi-Function Adjustable Pedals, Hall Sensor, Plug-And-Play, US8 Interface, Helicopters Flight Rudder Pedals

These arrived about a week ago and I have had a chance to use them for a few hours over three flights - two in DCS with the Mi-8 and one in MSFS2020 flying the Robinson R22.They're good.I got the opportunity to fly a Robinson R22 a few weeks ago and it made me rethink my flight control peripherals for flying helicopters. I was under the impression that helicopter controls are quite floppy so I was using MFG Crosswind pedals without a centre detent. From flying the R22 I realised that this was not at all realistic. The pedals have a certain amount of resistance as push rods are pushed against each other to move the control surfaces. They have a slightly grindy, squidgy feel and do not spring back at all.This is where the Wugu pedals are very good. I bought the version with the damper, wound the damper resistance up quite high, and took the spring off (I have replaced it with an elastic band to stop the cams from flapping around). This means that there is a certain amount of resistance when you push the pedal down and it stays where you put it which is a lot more realistic.I have given this 4 stars for the simple reason that there is a small flaw in the design of the pedals - there is a small amount of play in the system so that the pedals move a small amount before the damper is engaged. This means that there is no, or very little, damping for very small movements (and most movements are small). I have fiddled around with the pedals and tightened every nut and Allen bolt I can find, it hasn't gone away. There is a small possibility that there is some play in the place where the pedals go into the control box but I haven't been brave enough to take it all apart to get to it and see. The play is not in the push rods, it's not in the damper, I don't know where it is but it's annoying.Overall, these are a good set of pedals - they are quite realistic, they have good resolution, and they feel quite sturdy.One thing that I would mention is that you might want to make sure that you have a strip of sticky-backed hook and loop strip (the hook side) if you are using this on carpet or, even better, a piece of board to block the pedals between your feet and the skirting board. The sticky rubber strip that comes with it is not sufficient to stop it from "walking" away from you as you use the pedals.

An excellent set of pedals - similar to the old Vipril low profiles these in my view are better. The damper and spring combo allows you to have these setup exactly was you will need them.. My only gripe really is there is no ability to have toe brakes but who really cares with this sort of quality? Not me!

i am far from impressed with this device... iT took 3 weeks to get to me the delivery time was late by 3 days of posted and there are parts missing from the advertised product ( THE CENTER PISTON ) the quality is far from good quality ( ILL FITTING SCEWS AND NO INSTRUCTIONS) and i will not be ordering or recommending this to anyone ... avoid this at all cost this is a warning to all other people thinking of buying this product with this company AVOID AT ALL COSTS!THE PACKAGING WAS BATTERED AND SQUASHED !
