I gave this 5 stars. But I should maybe take a 1/2 a star away.I feel very confident now. Then my Apple pen will not fall out of the holder. When in the correct position is extremely secure. You have to release the pen with a button that pushes the pen out.Having said that the device is only held in with magnetism and an be bumped. This angles the device away from the magic keyboard and the pen is vulnerable to falling out.This however could be remedied by using good quality 3M Double sided tape to lock The holder to the Magic keyboard or tablet more securely. It's an easy fix and once done I will have great peace of mind. Without it I could barely enjoy having a pen. I was forever losing track of it. This has to be one of most solid feeling pencil grips while still allowing for easy convenient removal and keeps the pen fully charged at all times..

Went through several Apple Pencil sleaves over the last few years and couple of Apple pencil holders...you know, the fabric ones that the pencils slide into. Problems are always that the fabric gets stretched, the glue never holds and the pencil's proximity to the iPad keeps it always on, having to recharge the pencil at the worst possible time. This one, though...holds the pencil securely and in a position where it is always charging. Doesn't interfere with the regular functionality of the iPad and I have never had the Pencil accidently come loose. LOVE this!

I have used the pocket in the back of the cover and although it does not trigger my OCD, is not 100% convenient. This does a much better job, stays glued, non obtrusive, It would be better if it was a bit easier to take out the pencil from the groove, but is not a deal breaker. Good price, good value. Recommended.

I purchased one of these for my IPad Pro and it worked out so well I purchased 2 more for the other iPads. Holds pen more securely then the stick on holders. I also allows the pen to recharge on the magnet the way it should. Apple need to incorporate this product into their Magic Keyboard to keep them safe, secure, charging at the same time. Great product idea. Thank you.

Was not sure how this was going to work but it did great. Definitely holds the pencil in place, no more dropping and losing the pencil. Fortunately they gave extra adhesive stickers since I did it wrong the first time.

I loved my Apple Keyboard and then I received a pencil as a gift. This was the perfect solution as it allows the pen to charge at the same time I charge the ipad and keyboard. So useful and stays put. Would definitely purchase this again.

This works perfectly for storing your pencil without fear of losing the Apple pencil. I've done that once already. I use mine with the apple Magic Keyboard. This also fits my ESR digital pencil. Someone asked if the holder can be attached to the side of the Magic Keyboard. The answer is yes, but there is no charging strip or magnet on the side of the iPad Pro making pencil less secure.

I was always losing my pencil, especially when taking it in an out of my bag.This gets the job done perfectly. Looks great. Easy to put on. I just didn’t use the adhesive that came with it.The only con is it is a little annoying to take off, but I’d rather that then constantly losing my pencil.It’s very worth the money. Highly recommend.
