I'd say this is certainly worth buying for the money for any hobbyist. The inserts are correctly sized, and are easy to insert into thermoplastics like PETG and PLA. They also hold reasonably well when I manage to properly insert them into my 3d printed parts. The soldering iron tips work well, which is a plus.This also has a good variety of inserts included- although M2.5 is a bit of an oddball.

Excellent product...but the insert tool doesn't fit my iron as it should...but still usable...

These are perfectly serviceable heat-set inserts. My kit shipped with the installation tool that fits Hakko-style soldering irons. The installation tools are not extremely well-made with a decent amount of play within the insert.The organizer kit is decent, it has fixed dividers which is a big plus in my book.

3d printed some speaker pods in PETG. Adapter works well. Easy to use.

It does not come with the heating iron as described in the pictures.Looks like it could be a good kit, but I bought it because it says it comes with the heating iron and it does not.
