Just what I needed.
Although some reviewers found fault with the product, I found it worked well. It was a bit difficult to get all the wires connected, but once they were and the plug re-assembled, it was a solid product, Better instructions would have been helpful, especially if the person was not familiar with wiring.

Amazing replacement ends looks like the manufacturer
These are absolutely amazing and After installed. It looks like it came from the manufacturer that way, and I would highly recommend these.

They do the job
They seem to work alright. Not a bad thing to have around. Definitely kinda flimsy, but not a bad deal overall IMO.

Useless
This product is useless rubbish. The Chinese must have spent 5 cents making each of these plugs. There is no way to get a wire around the little 1/4-inch-long screws for the hot and neutral wires, and the ground wire connector has a tiny aluminum screw head at the end of a tiny post that could not secure a ground wire. The plug head is a hard plastic, and parts inside could easily break off. The whole thing is held together by little aluminum screws. I can't believe this could be UL approved. I've never seen anything so cheap intended for electrical service. I hate struggling with Leviton plugs, but spend your money on this product and you'll regret it.

Well made and solid replacement plug
Well-made and sturdy. I like the fact that the twisted stranded wire is clamped between two metal contacts in the plug, rather than wrapped around a screw where it can become un-twisted. You should check a receptacle to make sure you wire the plug correctly. The narrow slot in a receptacle is for the "hot" or black wire, The wide slot in a receptacle is for the "neutral" or white wire. Don't rely on the pictures here, they are not correct.

Difficult To Assemble For A Novice
These plugs require experience to install, and with experience the end result can be perfect. The difficulty is that the manufacturer or seller does provide assembly instructions. There is no information as to how far to cut the wire from the cover. And there is minimal room (or no room) within the outer cover for excess wire. And once you get the wire length correct, it requires a long nosed needle nosed pliers to close the two main components. This is not impossible, but took me over an hour to finesse, and I have a fair amount of experience in electrical work. For example, I used a standard 12/3 wire for this plug, and the listing says the plug cannot accept larger guages, but I had to use a round file to enlarge the cord opening that a 12/3 cord requires to be inserted through. And this requires finesse. Too loose and it it sloppy. And tight requires soap as a lubricant to feed the cable through the hole.In short, professionals can install these plugs with excellent results, but the average homeowner will probably not be able to.
