CAMPLUX 12V Water Pump, 1.6 GPM RV Water Pump 65 PSI for RV Marine Camping Yacht Garden

It's funny, I purposely bought a different portable propane hotwater heater because of the negative reviews this pump received. Well, I needed another to run my sink and this little guy is so much better. Of course I've only used it for 2 total weeks but so far so good. It is the perfect flow to run my RV sink and it is the perfect flow for my shower to keep it hot and not pump it faster than my insta-heater can heat. It has limited exposure to freezing temps, only 1 or 2 nights but I also try to run the pump dry after use. Seems to have held up OK. As with all affordable items, time will tell.

This is so far a good product for our home made motorhome. Produces good enough pressure for a sink and back shower, in a 14 ft rig.

My pump developed a small leak after about a year of use. I reached out to the customer service department and was amazed at how prompt and eager they were to help. They sent me a new pump within the week and thanked me for my support. Excellent job Camplux, you have earned a customer for life.

I bought this to try to make my camplux shower a little more efficient. It 100% did so. Before the pump the shower was one of extremes, too hot, too cold, never right. After purchasing the pump it make the shower an absolute treat. The first time in years that I had a great shower at the camp. PERFECT!!

I had to return the first one ordered, and the second one came missing parts also.The pump itself looks to be of good quality, but we never tried either of them because the connectors that are pictured, and which are mentioned in the description, we're not included with either of the two that were shipped to us. There are no options to order this item without such connectors, so it's definitely not my mistake. The seller did reward me with a full refund, and I was able to order another brand at the same price, which did arrive as pictured and described.

Works great in off grid application to limit water usage in regards to flow rate allowing time for tankless water heater to sufficiently heat cold water to desired temps.Very loud: pump is mounted in crawl space, but can be heard while showering at other end of cabin.Eventually it will leak which is very bad when rain catchment is only source of water.Don’t trust it to stay shutoff from back pressure. It merely cuts off and back on repeatedly. Had to wire manual shutoff switch to overcome issue. Without the manual switch it would cut until pump shorted out, popped fuse or drained solar charged battery.Wiring harness shorts out at pump; typically after you have soaped up and need to rinse off. So naked repairs may be your future if using this pump.Overall, it is good while it lasts, but when it fails I will be replacing it with a quieter more reliable pump with a similar flow rate.

I put this pump in my camper it lasted 1 camping trip and went out won't pump and not to mention was loud as hell could hear it run from 25 feet away from camper nothing but JUNK

I bought this to build an automatic watering system for some plants. I already had a setup but the pump was not strong enough. This pump is a bit too strong as I am still working out how to seal the connections I have to make so that it does not spray water all over the place. That being said it self primes quickly and can put out a lot of water which is basically what I needed.
