Perfect for warm climate trip
Needed a travel sheet for trip to warm climate. This was perfect. It was super light but was sturdy enough for me to feel safe from any creepy crawlies. The pillow case can double as a hat of sorts if you need to protect your head as well.

Used on the TMB for 10 nights
It did its job and I slept well. We stayed at Refuges in France, Italy and Switzerland, which are a lot like Hostels. After one night one of my traveling buddies got bed bug bites pretty bad on his back. I’m not sure if my liner helped or not but I slept right next to him and was bed bug free. Feeling lucky! I also like how light weight it is and I never felt too warm or too cool.

Stay warm with a weightless sleeping bag liner!
I was skeptical at first because it's so sheer, but this lightweight sleeping bag liner will take up virtually no space in your pack and keep you warmer while protecting the inside of the sleeping bag from perspiration. Traditional fleece liners are bulky, and if they get wet they're very heavy.

Fantastic deal on an amazing item!!
Bought for less than any other store could offer. Great brand. This liner is no exception. Very light and compact but makes a world of difference in the sleeping bag. Highly recommend 👌

Excellent Liner - Warmth & Comfort & Light
I got the Sea to Summit Silk Blend Sleeping Bag Liner and a Sea to Summit Comfort Blend Sleeping Bag Liner to see which I liked better. Both went on a recent 4-day/3-night backpacking trip where temperatures ranged from 20-60 degrees F with cutting wind and full days and nights of rain. My sister has a 15-degree rated sleeping bag and I have a 0-degree bag. So, now that the background is laid out, let's get into the details. The silk liner is small and light while offering comfort and immediate warmth when you climb in. We were able to roll it up within the sleeping bag and still get the bag into the stuff sack, almost without noticing the additional bulk. My sister immediately fell in love with the liner the first night out, it made the sleeping bag so much more comfortable and kept her from sweating the way you will in an unlined bag. She tends to chill easily and felt that the liner added warmth within the sleeping bag. Even better, the liner is perfect for a summer night all on its own, greatly reducing your pack weight if you are minimalist. The silk liner will dry quickly if it gets wet, too.For myself, I loved the light weight of the liner, but I preferred the slightly larger and heavier cotton one for sheer luxury in texture. When comparing the two, I can't say one is better than the other, it really depends on the camping you plan to do and how much you want to carry around. Features of both are similar and they have a compartment for a pillow (or to stuff a puffer jacket or other clothing) and are sewn up the sides with about a foot of hemmed split edges to allow you to sit up or move your arms freely. In the end, my sister kept the silk liner where I am keeping the cotton one. I think the silk is better for backpacking and the cotton is better for short trips or campground camping although they both were great on our trip. Hopefully this helps you make a decision when selecting which is right for you.

Thought I was going to tear it apart the two times I've used it.
This sleeping bag liner is very lightweight and packs down small. I'm not a long distance hiker but know that every ounce counts. I don't think this will add much weight to the pack. I typically car camp/overland and use a blanket as I find sleeping bags too confining. I knew this was a bag liner when I got it but was hoping the slit for the top and bottom was bigger so it would be easy to slide into it. It's not. Both time I've used the liner, I thought I was going to tear it apart when I got in and out of it. I also thought I was going to tear it when I tossed and turned while trying to fall asleep. It's not the quality of the liner which seems very good. It's just that it is very lightweight. I think it would be fine in a sleeping bag like it's designed for. As far as retaining heat, I don't think it really did. The first night, it wasn't cold and I slept in it as it was a little chili. After a couple hours of trying to fall asleep, I added a light blanket over it and fell asleep. The next night, it was cold. I got into the liner and put my usual generic wool blanket over me. I froze. I actually had a large beach towel in my tent and put it on top of the blanket and liner and was ok. Again, I think it would add a little warmth if it was used in a sleeping bag. Overall, it seems like it is good quality but I'm not sure I would recommend it.

Typical StS quality and accompanying $$
I’m a fan of StS products - they make good but expensive gear. I’m ok spending a little more for gear I can rely on though - this is usually a case of getting what you e paid for, and this liner is no exception. I like liners for one main reason - they can significantly prolong the life of your expensive sleeping bag by mitigating the need to wash it so often. Added benefit - a little more warmth (in this case more than a little) when needed and something lighter for when it’s too hot. Though I have stayed places where I wondered about the cleanliness when I was younger, these days I find it’s worth the expense to pay for nicer accommodations. It’s light weight and comfortable. I also appreciate the pillow pocket - helps keep whatever I’m using for a pillow from sliding out during the night. Fold it up nicely and getting it back in the stuff sack isn’t a big deal. I’m 5-10 and this fits me quite comfortably. This one is a bit pricey but it adds more to the r-value of my bedding than others and is really quite versatile as it can also be used by itself in warmer climates.

Perfect for Camino gear
This is the perfect sleeping bag (liner) for hiking the Camino de Santiago or any other hiking situation where you need a nighttime cover but can't afford a lot of weight or space in your pack. This liner squishes down to about the size of a roll up pair of socks (see comparison photo) and weights 6.3 oz (a little more than 1/3 pound). It's perfect for sleeping in albergues or hostels where they don't provide blankets. In these situations, I sleep in a silk base layer inside the liner. If it's really cold, I add whatever layers of clothes that are needed. There's usually no need for a full sleeping bag.
