Amazing gaming laptop at a affordable price
Great laptop for gaming. The quality is very clear and I have had no stuttering or lag issues. Screen size is very big but I would recommend plugging it in when playing as the battery does drain easily

Great gaming laptop and easy set up!
Bought a few days ago and so far so really good!Easy set up, playing all my games on Steam 60fps at high or ultra with no lag, even the fans aren't loud at all compared to previous laptops I've had in the pastBigger than expected in person too, I bought it while on sale and well worth it!

Awesome Laptop for Gaming and Everything Else
I’m loving the Acer Nitro V 16! It’s fast with the Ryzen 8040 processor and RTX 4070, so whether I’m working on school projects or gaming, it handles everything without breaking a sweat. The 16-inch screen is amazing for both study sessions and gaming marathons—super smooth refresh rate. Plus, the AI noise reduction feature is awesome for online classes or calls, keeping my voice clear and background noise out. The NitroSense software also helps me adjust performance to keep it cool during long study or gaming sessions. This laptop is a solid all-around choice, easy to use and looking amazing!

This is an "OK" purchase - I would probably choose differently next time
Firstly, this laptop is huge. Really big. The dimensions are there to see, but it's not until you receive it that you realise it really is massive. This isn't a laptop, really - it's a folding screen desktop machine. The light-up keyboard is pretty, but I need to work through the settings as it switches off all the time and it's frustrating in a darker room. The Co-pilot button is in a very annoying spot and results in frequent accidental presses. There is no Pg-Up or Pg-Down button. None of these things is major if you don't use them, but I do. I would also note that the screen is not widescreen, and feels quite old-fashioned to be "squarer" like laptops from 10 years ago. It is fast enough as a machine, but honestly for a gaming machine, it really labours when dealing with higher processing - even lots of photos make if gasp for breath! Overall, it's fine - it's faster and higher-spec than our old machine, but I am not "thrilled" with it. We've had Acer before, and they are very reliable which is great - and I expect it to last a few years. The price was good (£899) for the spec. The transfer from the old machine was slick (thanks, Microsoft) and all the kids have their own accounts. There is no capacity issue with the 1TB drive, but then again, OneDrive fixes that. It also comes pre-installed with all sorts of rubbish that's hard to get rid of - the ever-pervasive McAfee in particular. This is dire software, which gets everywhere, and even as a seasoned and competent user I am struggling to get rid of it. Anyway, it's fine - no issues particular - just not exactly overwhelmed with positivity; more lots of little niggles than a problem overall.
