We have a super tiny kitchen and were looking for a way to extend our countertop for meal preparation, washing dishes, holding stuff like heavy cast iron casserole pots, roast turkeys, etc. The narrowest one matched our counters perfectly and the black matched the style in this small space. For a cleaner look with the piano black shelf, we spray painted the underside to match the top (Rust-oleum 2X Canyon Black Satin). Contrary to another review, the provided screws for the shelf top were perfectly sized and did not poke through the top. Since we mounted the folding supports directly on wood cabinets, we used #10-3/4" wood screws for a super sturdy mount without any worry of overloading drywall inserts that were provided and unused. We mounted the supports at the 1/3 and 2/3 points for especially heavy objects we might want to place in the middle. This was the perfect solution to extend our countertop without any additional space in our lovely, albeit tiny, kitchen!

Purchased for our nurse to use in the office. Easy to assemble, solid, looks neat and clean. Size is just right. Folds easily. Great function!

I ended up returning this item. First, the instructions are extremely difficult to read and follow.Yet, if you or skilled at this kind of stuff then installing this may not be such a challenge. However, I think for the average person this would be too much of a headache to try to get mounted. I considered possibly utilizing task rabbit to get it mounted/installed but I didn't think it was worth it because the materials weren't great quality. Had it been a quality product, I might have been willing to pay someone from taskrabbit to mount the desk. Yet because of the extremely poor instructions and quality of the product I decided to return it.

I have a large dining room so i always though I needed a large table. But it's just me so I never use the table and it was just taking up space. So I got rid of the dinning room table and installed this instead (and by installed this I mean my brother installed this for me) and I couldn't be happier. I used the extra space to set up a kids play area for the nieces and nephews (as I am the fun aunt, after all) and the dogs have plenty of room to rough house now. And when I am not using it, which is most of the time, poof! it goes away.

Just what I wanted and looks great!

I put this in my laundry room. It’s narrow and I need to be able to fold it out of the way when not in use. Works well and easily.
