Even the Raccoons Wanted In!
I took these on a backpacking trip to Havasu Falls with my meaty CrossFit buddies, and they totally inhaled them—like they were PR’ing with a fork. But guess who else wanted in? The raccoons! We had a midnight raid where they went crazy trying to steal our packets. Pro tip: stash them in a rat sack unless you want a furry rave at 2 a.m.As for taste, they’re salty enough to feel satisfying after a sweaty hike, and the macros are on point for strenuous treks. Plus, and this is a huge win, they don’t make you gassy—so you’re not turning your tent into a fart chamber (my tentmates appreciated that!). Only downside: the peaches flavor is super sugary, so if you’re not into sweet overload, you might want to skip that one. But overall, these meals are a solid pick... if you can keep the raccoons away

Not the best, but not bad
I've tried many different brands of freeze dried and quick cook camping meals. The novelty of the bison meat made me grab this one to try.It was pretty standard fare. It kept the hunger away while tasting pretty good. The thing that really go me was the biscuit in this pack. You can feel what appears to be a fist sized stone in the package, which it the freeze dried bread. The instructions say you can leave it whole or break it into smaller pieces. Well, I don't know if I got a difficult one of not, but it was harder than hard tack, and I couldn't break it at all. Leaving it whole doesn't let the thing fully rehydrate, and I was left with a chalky dry biscuit that I mostly ate around.

Takes Care if Sweet Tooth and Tastes Good!
We have been storing a bit of food for emergencies and decided to try a dessert. I was really surprised at the taste. I made it per instructions on the bag. Just add hot water, close the bag and wait. Tasty for a freeze dried dessert. There were chunks of fruit that were warm and something like sweet croutons that were also warm and tasted like cobbler topping. There was a creamy sauce. My husband poured his into a bowl and I ate mine out of the bag just to get the full effect. I would say if the electric is out and you want something sweet this is great.

Amazing
This tastes so good and was above my expectations I've been into the survival prepping kind of mindset lately and these meals are perfect for long term storage and the ease of use is amazing yes there are cheaper ones and I've tried them but they are nowhere near the quality of the peak brand and idk about you but if it's a survival situation or apocalypse type thing happening I wanna enjoy what I eat at least and I wanna nobits a good product these r great for camping hiking keeping in the car etc with the way of the world and how unpredictable things are these days it's nice to have a good option like this handy at all times definitely a thumbs up in my opinion and the fact that it's really good is a plus as well

Not bad for a camp meal
The taste isn’t bad. It holds up well and it serves its purpose when you’re in the middle of nowhere camping. It was very filling.

Powdered Bison....
I read things too fast sometimes and didn't notice that the Bison meat was powdered. I'm sure there's a reason for it but was hoping for some actual pieces of meat like Peak's Beef Stroganoff. Anyway that's the reason for taking away one star, other than that this is a tasty meal and really love the actual biscuits it has in it that at least makes up a little for the powdered Bison. I do wish Peak would add a few more vege's to a few of their meals. Even so, this is a nice meal to enjoy after you've been hiking or camping or just as an easy meal at home, it's a good idea for you to order what you think you'll like and try them at home. Peak is still the best dehydrated meals you can buy and they're adding new ones most of the time. I've got their peach cobbler waiting to be tried. Another reason to sample the meals at home is if you may want to add anything to them, for the most part they don't need additions but I like ground pepper for the Stroganoff, a bit more mild curry for the Curry Chicken, parmesan for the Pesto etc. But you gotta love those biscuits, I break them up if they're still whole - before adding the water of course.
