High Performance Gym - Patriotic XL Model with Total Over 100 Workout Exercises

The GR8FLEX machine is the perfect addition for in home training! The attachments that are included make it very easy to get a full body workout in a short amount of time. Being 6’2” and over 200 lbs, I was concerned I may not fit this machine but I have no problems using every attachment with a full range of motion.Prior to purchasing I read all of the reviews and I would like to address some of the negative comments: Yes, mine came with some minor paint scratches and small discoloration on the pad. The discoloration came off with a magic eraser and the paint chips do not bother me. It is gym equipment, not art.Yes, it makes noise while in use. Again, it is gym equipment, I would not expect it to be silent.Yes, the back pad does not roll perfectly smooth. No other total gym I’ve ever owned rolls any better than this one.Yes, it is difficult to move around because it is heavy. I spent about $8 on parts and added wheels to the tower base. When it’s folded up you can lean it back and easily roll it around. (See photo) Might be a good idea for GR8FLEX to add to future units.Overall I find it to be a solid piece of equipment that I look forward to using for a long time.Finally, the customer service is amazing. Had an issue with one of the resistance bands and they had it replaced in a couple of days.I highly recommend the GR8FLEX gym!

I had bought a similar product that was a level down from this one and about 100 bucks less and ended up returning that one. But when I got this one it was much sturdier and included all the accessories and had more features. At first i had trouble with the rollers on the board and sent an email to the company. They immediately replied and sent me a new board which worked perfectly. This makes me feel good about the lifetime guarantee they have on this product. They communicate very well. I ended up ordering a second one to have at our second home. Also during these COVID-19 times I find this product very useful to keep in shape instead of going to the gym. I found the videos on YouTube to be very helpful in understanding how to fold and unfold the unit, how to set up the unit for different exercises, and how to get on and get off it as well.

I have had the total gym a couple of times and this gym beats it by far. The bench is longer and wider so both my head and butt can be on the bench at the same time! No more getting my hair stuck in the pully under the sliding bench or having to hold my feet up during an exercise. Which is hard as a beginner, let me tell you. My son is 6 foot 2 and he can have his head and butt on the bench at the same time too. wow! I also feel more stable on this bench. You get all the attachments and warranty that beats total gym again. It also only cost me roughly only a quarter of the price of a total gym! best thing I ever bought. The foot pad is so big and amazing. The easy pull bar my son loves. The YouTube channel is great as it shows someone actually doing each exercise too and workout routines are simple. I also bought a stretch poster and a sliding bench workout poster to put to the wall too for a quick quide. Totally love this gym! the packaging was so good even my son was making comments about the best packing job he had ever seen. He is excited that we got this as well. Best gym ever!

I've had a Total Gym XLS in the past and really liked it. I ended up selling it a while back and was looking for a replacement. I found the GR8FLEX and decided to take a chance. I purchased this a few months ago and waited to write a review until I had some practical experience using it. I am impressed. I found the GR8FLEX has very good value for the cost. It can do everything a Total Gym can do with some minor differences.PROS:Stable platform - No issue at the highest setting while sitting upright and performing exercisesRange of motion - Very good range of motion. I am 6'3" with long arms and there are times when I need to adjust on the slide to get all the way down or up on my pulls. However, I had that same problem on my Total Gym so this challenge is my own.Accessories - I really like the accessories that come with the GR8FLEX. They all have benefits, but the curl bar is my favorite. I did buy a second set of carabineers to make it easier to add and remove that item.CONS:Resistance Bands - The resistance bands are just OK. If you have all four on at once it's hard to keep the slide from pulling out from under you. It's also a bit of a pain to clip on and off at the bottom of the unit. I would prefer to have a weight bar to add weight rather than resistance bands.Slide - The wheels for the slide are acceptable, but if they were upgraded they would be better. Of course, that comes with a price.SUMMARY:If you buy this, you will have a very good piece of exercise equipment. The key is to actually use it. I saw improvements in my flexibility and strength almost immediately. It has great attachments, stability and movement. The only reason I gave the GR8FLEX four stars was because of the resistance bands. If it had a weight bar available this would be a five 5 star product.
