OFC, (oxygen free copper) is the way to go!
But it does cost more than copper clad aluminum. We used this wire to run two 15" subwoofers connected to 1,200 watt peak monoblock amplifiers. We experienced no excessive heat in the wire or the connections. We did tin the wires before hooking them to the connectors.

As advertised, clean copper, nice red/black shielding, not for tight corners, splitting the ends ro be worked on for finishing is quite tough needs to be cut apart, still a great product....

Actual Oxygen Free Copper, not Copper Clad Aluminium
Finding actual OFC and not just CCA is becoming harder and harder these days. I spent the better part of a day finding this, and am glad that I did. I'm using this for my radiator fans, and CCA is just a fire hazard I'd like to avoid, especially under the hood.

Great wire!
Picked this up to wire my ZV6 15 to a DB 7.5k.It is very soft and mailable, and the coating is very thick. It's clear enough to see the copper inside. I have zero complaints other than I should've went with 8g... My fault, but this is working great and keeping cool!
