Tuli’s Cheetah Heel Cup with Compression Sleeve for Sever’s Disease and Heel Pain for Gymnasts and Dancers, Fitted Youth Small

Bought for 11 year old daughter who competes in Acro Gymnastics at national level. Like a lot of pre-teen sportspeople she suffers from the impact of extensive training (12 hrs + per week) on joints and bones. A common symptom is Severs disease - often associated with a rapid growth spurt. As the bones get longer, the muscles and tendons become tighter as they cannot keep up with the bone growth. This causes pain and tenderness at the back of the heel which is made worse with physical activity. The Tuli's Cheetah Heel Protector not only cushions the heel from impact it also elevates it into a position, which is more comfortable for the user. She's been wearing one on her right foot, which is the worse affected during training and saw almost immediate relief. She's also been using Tuli's Heavy Duty Heel Cups in all her shoes. Recommended! I ordered this product for my daughter, aged 9 - who does a lot of sport, she has size 6 feet, so has grown quickly. They did the job, reduced her heel pain. She did need to rest and stop activity for 2 weeks, but she did wear the heel cups to school and said they made her heels feel much better. The strap on the heel cup did help her while she got used to them, however, by the end of the 2 weeks she was managing really well with the spare heel cup in her shoe. Cured for now, we will see how we go. I would definately recommend this product.

This was bought to help relieve pain in my 8 yr old daughters foot (the ball). Originally I bought XS which was hard work to get on but once on fit perfectly. She's a shoe size 13.5. Size S is easier to put on and as a little growing room. It has really helped reduce the pain and my daughter doesn't do gymnastics without it now. She wears it on all pieces. She also wears the extra heel cup in her school shoes. It's easy to wash just throw in the washing machine when needed. Really worth the money!

Bought two sizes of this as the description of the fit was inadequate - the XS does not fit; too wide at the calf and very uncomfortable. The S I haven't even opened as it wasn't going to fit if the XS did not. Now I am told that neither will be refunded. So don't bother if you are not absolutely sure of the fit. It was intended to help my daughter with Severs. It has just ended up an expensive mistake. Avoid.

These are tight to get on but need to be tight so go with the sizing given. Helps shock absorb when tumbling in gymnastics. Does not stop knee pain but certainly helps my daughter. They stay in place - would recommend

One size doesn't really fit all . And the straps attach to the side and wear the sides down only used 3 days and wearing out quick. Appart from that excellent product if you have problems like myself with your heels. Really helps with soar heels. It's not cheap at £16 what I bought it for so I would expect it to last longer. Because of the side wearing down it starts to look tackey .not a good look. The design needs a little improvement.
