Best raisins I've ever have eaten!!!

Taste of the raisins are above moderate but not so great. Good percent of raisins are broken which can be looked into by the seller. Otherwise packaging is nice and will order again.

I love NUTS U.S. Jumbo Golden Raisins so hoping to avoid the sulfur dioxide I thought I would give these Black Raisins a try. They have a good consistency and flavor but honestly nothing special.They do not have sulfur dioxide, but as with all NUTS U.S. raisins I have purchased they do contain oil (sunflower in this case). I do not mind it but some friends of mine think it gives them a mild waxy consistency. I think it is to keep them moist and fresher looking and think it changes the overall experience very little.They are large, but not super jumbo, as compared to the Jumbo Golden.These are good quality natural raisins and certainly better than most store available raisins.

It appears that the package was never sealed. I discovered that the package was never sealed when a raisin fell out. As you can see from the attached photo that the ziploc seal was visible and without cutting off top of bag or tearing off. Both indents for tearing are both still in place. I am a regular buyer of dried fruit and this is the first bag I have received unsealed.

The container says "NUTS" but inside is the best black raisins I have ever seen or tasted. My first buy, but I will be back for more. MM
