No box
Books came in great condition wrapped in plastic however the box that incase them in the photos was not included. Still happy overall though

Bad condition
The books were damaged and the box is pretty much falling apart. Love the story so I am very upset at the condition I received this in.

Engaging plotline, writing style hampers
I found this trilogy entertaining and the plot line is intriguing. However, by about page 100 of the second volume, I was wondering how many times I needed to read that the main character was angry, fearful, or confused. The plot suggests there is character development (maturing) of the main character, but it is not quite clear from the writing how this occurs. I finished off the volumes by scanning from plot point to plot point as I found the style of the writing not that engaging. This may be a function of the author being a teenager/early 20's when the books were written.
