AltitudeCraft Tubing Straightener – Precision Meets Performance
The AltitudeCraft Tubing Straightener truly lives up to its promises! I initially tested it on 1/4" coiled copper tubing, and it performed flawlessly. As someone who works extensively with HVACR copper lines, I was eager to see how well this tool would handle coiled tubing—and it straightened the 1/4" line effortlessly, exactly as advertised. The rollers provided smooth, consistent pressure, eliminating kinks and bends for a professional-quality finish.I appreciate the ease of use and versatility of this straightener, which can handle a wide range of tubing diameters from 3/16" to 1.0". Although I’ve only tested it on 1/4" so far, the results have been impressive. I plan to follow up after conducting more thorough testing on larger HVACR copper lines to see how it performs across the full range of sizes. For anyone needing precision straightening for fuel, brake, or copper tubing, this tool is already proving to be a game-changer. It’s durable, effective, and simple to use—a must-have for any professional or DIYer’s toolbox.Highly recommended, with more feedback to come after further testing!

Pex tubing will get straightER, still not quite straight.
To be fair I am mainly straightening out 1" PEX for my boiler lines from a 300' coil. This stuff is a pain to straighten because of its size and wall thickness, not for any failing of the tool. The straightener itself is heavy, solid, seems well built, and functions as intended. I have found best results from running the tube back and forth multiple times and using the tubing immediately. If you don't use immediately the tubing curls back up some, but again that is the tubing not the tool. It would help to put the tubing out in the sun for an hour or two on a hot day to relax it a bit before straightening. I still recommend it and can see it having a number of uses in both home improvement as well as automotive applications.

Works well
I put this in my vice and then slowly ran my tubing through it. It came out almost perfect. I like how you can do micro adjustments with with the sizing arm. That way you can start off big and then as the tube gets closer to straight you can adjust the size smaller and smaller to get it almost perfect. After doing a couple tubes, I do see some marks on the end wheels where the tube caught the wheel. I'm hoping that doesn't become an issue and maybe over time replacement wheels might be available (and harder wheels so this doesn't happen).
