If you get hiccups often & sometimes they don't go away by simply holding your breath, you need this! I've had one for several years but recently misplaced it during a kitchen remodel. After everything was put back in the kitchen AND getting hiccups several times with still no Hic Away - I ordered 2. Now I have one where it's easy to grab & one in a safe place.

The product seems well made. Yhe idea behind it seems very similar to the same mechanism as holding your breath but perhaps since you are sipping, it prolongs the inhalation a bit and that's was helps? Many people say it works but for my father who had intractable hiccups for days following open heart surgery, they did absolutely nothing. Not necessarily the product's fault, the cause of the hiccups not just a minor irritation like most. Three stars for the fact that it looks well made and the concept seems solid, but can't give five stars to something we can't say works.

I don’t use this , but my son can’t burp and gets the hiccups. I’m hoping this will work for him👍
