Overall satisfied.
Pretty good for the price! Small and compact, and connects relatively quickly. As others have said, every so often it will get a little choppy when playing music. The drops are so short that most of the time I don’t notice it, but it does happen.

Excellent device basically plug and play.
the Carlinkit se is an excellent device if you desire wireless CarPlay it works extremely well. The link is quick less than 5 seconds. The navigation is spot on, wireless calling and sound quality is excellent I would highly recommend the Carlinkit SE device 5 stars.

Excellent functionality and price - so far - so good!
This has been EXCELLENT so far. Install...piece of cake. Use...easy...although you have to be aware of what Bluetooth devices you phone may already be connected to when you get in the car to use THIS one...Bluetooth is part of what CarPlay uses to establish the overall connection...other Bluetooth device connection can cause an issue. We shall see how it works over time...but the sound quality is good, the lag, if there is any, is really not noticeable in my use so far. I would say, at the moment, an excellent value and good piece of kit!

Lots of dropped connections and skips and awkwardly sized
I've tried out three of these aftermarket dongles and this one had the most UNstable connection. It did not come with any instructions, but these are pretty simple to setup.I started noticing that when playing music, you would hear an occasional fractional second drop of signal. This would happen about every 2 minutes and if multiple apps were communicating (e.g. maps and music) the problem was worse, eventually culminating in a full 3-second disconnect. This all occurred in the first 10 minutes of use. I quickly reverted to a more capable dongle (UPOSBOS).The form factor of this device is about the size of an older thumb drive which makes it awkward when plugged in, protruding about 3 inches from the port. I have other devices that are 1/3 the size and work better than this one. If I was going to give it a positive spin, I like the fact that you can connect as USB-A or USB-C and cap the other end. Clever design, but I would prefer that it worked well. I couldn't possibly recommend purchasing this device at any price, as experience using it should be seamless (as if it weren't even there).

Buggy, but functional
Cool that it enables car play but it’s very buggy. I have to manually set it up close to every time I get in the car.If I’m on the phone prior to getting in the car it does connect to the car but not CarPlay, so I can’t hear the other person and they can’t hear me. Then I have to hang up, reconnect to the adapter, then call back. There’s probably another way to fix that it’s just the only way I’ve managed to figure it out.Intermittently it won’t connect at all, even just to put on directions, so I have to unplug it and plug it back in to reset it and then repair the Bluetooth connection from scratch.BASICALLY when it works it works really well I just wish it was a bit more consistent.
