If you find it in the ₹500-600 range, you might want to explore other options I've listed below.★ # Now, let's delve into the pen: (For a comprehensive purchase decision, please read the entire review)- The pen exhibits excellent ink flow.- Contrary to Indian standards for fine nibs, this pen's nib leans more towards a medium nib. I've included a side-by-side comparison with another (f) nib for reference.- Don't expect significant line variations with this pen. There is no flex at all.- NOT FOR THE BEGINNERS, as they tend to press the pen like ball pens against the paper and that will surely hamper the experience.- While it's a bit on the heavier side, you'll likely get used to it over time.- This pen is delicate and prone to scratches, so handle it with care.- Although the cap can't be posted, due to the pen's size, this isn't an issue.- It's well-suited for extended writing sessions, thanks to its remarkable ink flow, which reduces the need to press hard against the paper.- The nib removal and cleaning process is straightforward, thanks to the clip mechanism in the feed, nib, and section.★ # Now, let me recommend some alternative pens within the same price range:- If you're open to Chinese pens, Jinhao 911/X450/X750 offer excellent (arguably the best) options in this price range.★ For non-Chinese pens, consider the following:- At around ₹350, the Click Aristocrat (Indian) stands out with superior nib quality. It's also adaptable for eyedropper use and offers a flex nib option.- For approximately ₹400, Beena V'Sign Neo (Indian), the newer sibling of Beena Lincoln is a preferable choice, particularly for beginners.- At ₹350, you can also opt for the Platinum Preppy (Japanese), a reliable pen that can hold ink without drying out for a month, and it's compatible with eyedropper conversion.- In the ₹550-600 range, the Click Orion (Indian) is an eye-catching half-ebonite pen, also available with a flex nib option.- Finally, within the ₹450-550 range, Kanwrite pens like Relik, Saloon, and PC are solid options. Look wise this pen is unmatchable at the price of 660₹ basically for the brand value of Parker and the clip arrow.I received my pen today packaging was undoubtedly great and sturdy.But I'm just surprised to see this pen writes the worst all among my fountain pens!!! I don't know if the cause is my 1 year old camlin 20₹ cheap fountain pen ink. But as a experienced pen collector I knew at the first day pens write very rough and have a lot feedback overtime pens write smoothly. But in this perticular pen 1st day experience is lot more feedbacky compared to other fountain pens. I don't know if it will write smoothly overtimebut one thing is clear Fine nib of the pen is great if you want to use it as a daily pen for students or professionals it will write without any ghosting or fathering on any paper (except on tissue paper)But as per knowledge and experience it will lose it's Matte finish after long uses due to oil and sweat of the hand. Overall a considerable pen but if it writes smoothly after 2 weeks or so I will update my review to 5 star.It doesn't write smoothly doesn't means it scratchy instead it makes 0 sound but a lot of feedback to move the pen on paper.****Edit:***** this pen writes absolutely smooth on classmates notebook or other papers like that smooth texture. Actually my all the other pens write smoother in the rough pages so I tried my Parker pen to write on rough page but it did not write as smooth as my other pens. But in normal classmate notebook paper it writes smoothly.

Only bad part is convertor is old style, you need to buy CON 40 converter for another 600 INRLAMY SAFARI seems overvalued, should be around 2000 INR, both pens feel different but very very smooth can be used whole day for writing compared to pilot metropolitan, though both nibs are MEDIUM but feel slightly different. (not the case with pilot)Parker vector Metallix I would say go ONLY if you have not much of money or just want to start with fountain pens, writing with this is good, pen is very short so not so comfortable (FINE) is comparable to pilot , BUT BUT,..... NONE of the OTHER pens dry, but I had weird experience with Parker Metallix that it gets dry ink if not used for a week, LAMY and Pilot on other hand can be used without headache after a month (Although I know it will be futile to do comparison of pen which is hardly 5 times cheaper with set of expensive ones) but I SAY SKIPParker Frontier is also FINE, writes good but definitely not on the finer side, better to go for this than VectorLamy 2000 fountain pen is true gem of fountain pens cannot be compared with the others (and should not be 😂) it's expensive with price of INR 25000, but go only if you love writing,. Consistent and dries quicklyBest ink you can buy is "Pilot Iroshizuku" and Lamy T53 Crystal collection I have both but could not show sample of Iroshizuku,.. Both costs INR 1500 so not on affordable side,. But fantastic inksPelikan 4001 is one of the affordable and yet beautiful inks (use with medium nib) to feel the color shading effects.... You can go for it!!Waterman Ink goes with its name, it's watery (Not Bad) but takes time to dry out,.. But rich in color little costly but comparable to Pelikan, makes Pelikan better ink.Lapis Bard Irish Joe is good but expensive, ink dries in between Pelikan and Waterman,.. LOOKS ugly till wet but it's looks jaw dropping BEAUTIFUL once dries, lots of highlights and definitely worth the price.Lamy Ink T52, Ah!
