I have only had this pillow for a few days so hopefully I'll update my review later.I've never had a memory foam pillow before but it's obvious from first seeing this one that it is really good quality. It's thick and never sinks right down - just moulds around you. The cooling topping is really interesting too - great for people who over heat.I've been struggling recently with neck and shoulder pain - a pinched nerve I think in my neck. As we are in lockdown I cannot have my regular acupuncture or physio so I've noticed my pain getting worse. I ordered this as was desperately trying to find a way to ease my pain at night. I hadn't slept properly for ages.The first night I wondered if it would be comfortable - I'm a side sleeper and it's so different to my normal pillows but it was surprisingly comfortable! I only woke up twice the first night when I had been waking up 7 or more times a night. Now a couple of days later I am down to waking up just once.I still have some pain in my shoulder but everything feels looser so I'm hoping this will really help me.The price seems expensive at first but I don't think it is because this seems like something that will last. And to me it is worth it to be able to sleep again and wake up in less pain. Definitely worth trying if you are in pain and need more support.

Update: I still love this pillow. Even my partner who abhorred the smell likes it. He's even considering getting one himself regardless of the month or two it took for the smell to be 95% gone.The only downside is that the cooling pad inside doesn't always work. it seems finicky. Sometimes it's nice and cool, other times it's a regular pillow.I'm debating leaving it in the fridge or even freezer for 10 minutes or something to retain the cool, but I'm scared that may damage it.Still definitely a 4.5 star in my book. Helps me sleep far better and it's now the only pillow I even need at night.The baking soda trick kinda worked. Again, if you really don't like the smell, it'll take a while to dissipate.The good:It's very weighted. Don't get in a pillow fight with this thing. However, despite its heavy feel and firmness, when you actually lay on it, it's more giving than you'd expect.The cooling gel is a really nice featureThe pillow is bigger than normal, which was a nice surprise since I didn't check dimensions.Customer service is incredibly prompt and they really care about their product, asking me for a completely honest review.The BadThe smell. Apparently all memory foam products often have this problem.Been two weeks and the smell has still yet to leave. I tried leaving it in the window and airing it out with a fan for hours and hours. It helped a little, but not enough.I now sleep with this pillow that has its cover it came with, another pillow case and a towel. The smell still gets through. It even makes my hair smell similar. My partner absolutely hates the smell, so I will do what I can to get rid of it.Will update review when I try the baking soda trick where you sprinkle it with some and leave it for the day, then vacuum it up.Over all I really love this pillow, but many people will be quite adverse to the smell. I'm only a little bothered, but my partner dislikes the pillow greatly solely because of that smell. So hoping I can fix it.

I have had many variations of this type of pillow over the pat 25 years. I had my reservations at first as the hollow is not as pronounced as other products. Good to say they where ill-founded. This is dense memory foam, if you have never used one of these before, persevere. To a newbie switching from a normal pillow or no pillow at all they are like a torture instrument, my first one took me months to be able to sleep on all night. This pillow is a delight to sleep on. It provides suburb support and i have not had a bad nights sleep since purchasing it. I would go as far as saying it is the best pillow i have purchased to date, you occasionally get cheap variations in Aldi or Lidle, these are generally just ordinary foam, believe me i know, i have purchased them and thrown them after around 2 years as the foam just does not provide the support anymore. Had this product been around 25 years ago you would probably have to had paid £60-80 for it, i paid £40 for a very good but inferior product to this one at that time. I cant say this enough, persevere if this is your first one, they take some getting used to but believe me once you get used to it, it will go on holiday with you. I kid you not on that point as sleeping on an ordinary pillow becomes almost impossible without waking up with a very stiff neck.
