I ordered this paddle as a spare for when we have company. Just for fun, I set aside my nice, higher priced, name brand paddle to give this one a shot. To start off, it feels lighter than my normally used paddle, it was noticeably more aerodynamic with the cutout, but the best part for me is the edgeless design. I’m not getting as many misses when I catch an edge. I feel like it has a bigger sweet spot and without really being able to pin down a specific quality about it, I just find my entire game has improved using this paddle. I’m still newer to the game, but can definitely feel an obvious impact on my game. I just need to find a good way to break the news to my husband that I much prefer this less expensive paddle to the one he gifted me. 🤪

I use to use these cheap paddles that I got in a pack of 2 but after playing with this I can feel a big difference. The surface is a lot more textured so it gives you more grip when you want to spin the ball. When you hit the sweet spot it makes the ball feel like nothing which is great. I also thought the hole would cause some interference when I played if I hit it near the hole in the paddle but it didn’t mess me up once. The hole actually provides some nice grips especially if you want to spin the ball. Packaging was also really nice came in a box with a pickleball keychain, a protective cover for the paddle, some extra grip tape, and an eraser for the paddle which I haven’t used yet.

I’m a beginner player. This is my second it’s paddle and much easier to use. Hopefully it’ll help me play Pickleball better.

After using the cheap paddles from Target I upgraded to this paddle. Honestly the similar look to the Selkirk at an affordable price is what lured me in. However playing with this paddle changed my game, my serve, and my love for the game. Really great starter paddle in my opinion.

First off, good price: I don’t think the paddle is worth the price though.It has a lot of dead spots. I have used it 3 times so far and I have yet to find the sweet spot more so jam 3 times while playing.The grip kind of keeps the sweat on so you have to dry your handle and your hand consistently.Control and power is good but inconsistent due to the lack of sweat spot.I have been playing for a while and have tried out several paddles.This would be on the lower end off my scale due to the inconsistent sweet spot and due to the grip with the sweat issue.Overall, wouldn’t buy this again but an alright paddle if you are looking for a semi cheap one not really caring about consistency. It is pretty durable though so I will give them that.
