GREAT HUMIDIFIER. IT HAS ALL the Functions needed. It is worth the extra dollars.
Great humidifier. It sucks the water out of the air like a pro. My house is dry. I am happy. It has ALL the features that are needed, built in pump, large water bin, almost 2 gallons - easy to remove and empty, stops when you take the container out, restarts when you replace the container. It has continuous drain option, drains up down, sideways, comes with 2 drain tubes, 3 ft and 16 feet, auto shut off when water bin is full, auto defrost, auto restart when electricity goes off, WiFi, easy to setup, good instructions, noise level is reasonable for the job it is doing, sitting 6 feet away with tv on...It is a gem! I have to empty the water container 2 times a day, makes it through the night.

Cautiously optimistic that the Honeywell will do the job.
So far this unit has performed very well. It is used in partially finished basement and is my third attempt at dehumidifiers in the space. Two previous hOmeLab units, purchased from Amazon, worked fine for about a year and then compressors failed on both units. Decided to try Honeywell this time and am cautiously optimistic at this point. I hope this product gives better performance.

The Best Dehumidifier?
The most solid well made dehumidifier I ever owned and is very easy to set up and move around. Also, it is the quietist dehumidifier on the low fan setting that is perfect for a bedroom. I have it set up to remove water through the drain tube and that works well. Most dehumidifiers I have owned in the past only lasted at the most 1 or 2 years, before no longer working properly. This Honeywell Dehumidifier was top rated by a well known consumer organization and from my short term use of this unit, I believe this is the correct one to buy. Hopefully, it will last longer than dehumidifiers I have owned in the past.

Works like a charm to keep home humidity levels down
It’s been a month since I’ve had it and it works great. Here in Georgia it’s humid all year long so it’s been constantly running for that month. I ran the hose to the kitchen sink to continuing empty. Don’t be alarmed by the first pump. The rest of the water purges are much quieter. You still definitely notice it running, butI put it in the farthest part from common areas.

Very powerful, very effective
As dehumidifers go, Honeywell's are among the best. This unit is frankly overkill for most houses and will happily run continuously if you need it to. It'll take the humidity down as low as 35%, and keep it there as long as needed. It can be a bit noisy though, so I recommend not deploying it near where anyone sleeps. It's best suited to basements or very large rooms.

Came defective
This dehumidifier was brought assuming it would give us the coverage in our attic. The 1 st month passed and it sounded like it was doing its job but my husband would go up and check and for no apparent reason the dehumidifier would stop functioning. We thought ok we’ll do some troubleshooting and adjustments. The second month now we call Amazon and they could not help us bc this is a third party seller. BEWARE they will give you the runaround and tell you all the reasons why it’s probably not working. They will not settle the problem the way Amazon would. Which is money back guarantee. I wouldn’t risk buying from this seller and from now on will only stick to Amazon items no third party seller sellers bc of this HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

Good buy
Item arrived very soon and has performed great so far, hope continues for months to come. The previous one (not same brand) quit after 6 months.

Making a big difference in cold basement
Is working flawlessly in my cold damp basement. I have only had this for one week so I can’t comment on longevity however. I have a basement which is divided into a finished space and an unfinished space/workshop area. Historically the areas have been dehumidified with purchased GE dehumidifiers in the past. 1 worked 1 yr, 1 worked 5 years and one is still working after 4 years. I decided to try this Honeywell unit.
