My microphone broke the same day I got it but the karaoke box is nice other than that

Sound quality and volume are quite decent—it meets my hopes when ordering it, fortunately, and not my fears. You're going to get only so much with an inexpensive and compact unit. Far from pro, but it's a significant step up from a kids unit. This would be at home in a small gathering of adults (certainly four would be a good fit) having some fun while enjoying a beverage together.Maybe this will help? I use professional recording equipment, including a $2.5k mic. This is not remotely close. But neither do I run screaming from the room—this is totally useable for its intended purpose. Made me smile. Otherwise, it would have gone instantly to the grandkids. I like the form factor and the leather strap. It wouldn't be an eyesore if you left it on the counter.A few notes:• Two mics—independent volume controls on-mic; there are also buttons to set the mic mode (reverb), but they are not independent, which is fine• Powering off the microphones required a long press—this is good, because whenever I've been to karaoke with wireless mics, someone invariably turns off their mic accidentally• Most of the buttons have short-press and long-press features, such as "+" to increase volume incrementally with short presses, or next song with a long press• The unit give voice and beep confirmations for , such as speaking the microphone mode when it's changed, or a beep when reaching maximum or minimum volume settings• The mic mode are plain, "pop" (reverb), and "karaoke" (echo reverb)—"child" (high pitched) and "monster" (low pitched), but that's mainly a kids thing• Being Bluetooth, there is a delay when singing, but it's easily manageable—as a guess I supposed it might be near 40 milliseconds, and checking the internet I see 34 ms is the low-latency standard so it's likely that• Supports a TF memory card for music, and also a USB drive, for WAV and MP3, and AUX audio input• If you have two of these, apparently you can pair them for stereo• Comes with two charging cables, USB-A to USB-C on the mics and main unit• The vocal eliminator button is useless, wipes out too much of the music along with the vocals, but the iPhone/iPad Sing feature works great, so use that insteadFollow up: I did a quick test of the frequency response, via bluetooth, Image attached. I wasn't able to connect to the aux input for a wired test, because the jack appears to be smaller than the standard 3.5 mm mini phone plug.

The YLL Karaoke Machine is a pretty compact and light karaoke system with alright quality sound. The main unit weighs a 2.38 lbs while a mic weighs 3.9 oz. It has really cool RGB lighting that shines brightly from the front of the speaker as well as from the mic head base. There are foam pads on the bottom of the main unit to protect the surface that it is resting on.I didn’t like the cheap plastic that the housing was made out of for both the mic and the main unit. The speaker comes with a cheap leatherette strap for carrying it around. The phone holder wasn’t a feature that needed to be added in the design at this level of quality!The mics area decent size. The sound quality was pretty good coming out of the mics though there was a lot of static noise coming out of the mic from when I spoke. The volume that the mic produced was good though, so I could hear myself when I talked pretty well. The magic mic effects were alright. They did sound off on pitch when it came to the baby mode. The buttons are pretty flush on the mic, but I was able to hit them. I liked that the echo effect is able to be removed, and the sound was pretty clear of my voice. The karaoke effect though was also good with the echo and reverb!I connected the device via Bluetooth to my Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and the sound quality coming of the speaker was great but there was static noise in the background.The instruction manual is pretty basic but at least it’s in color. It covers most features of use, but it doesn’t go into the details of such things as the TF card slot as well the USB slot.

When looking for a new karaoke machine, I came across this one by the YLL Store and was definitely intrigued by the features it claimed it would provide. With that- I decided to go ahead and order this and see how well it would work for my purposes. One thing right away that stood out was the fact this has dual microphones, so my two teenage daughters would be able to use this together. The LED lights seemed like it would make the experience even more fun. Now that I have this home and have had ample time to try this out, I will say that this is a very good karaoke machine. The features are really impressive.
