I had this professionally installed 11/9/24. Opted to have it hardwired in. Very easy to use, I love the voice commands, great quality photos, videos. So far, so good!

Get fuse taps for harness install. One is for auxiliary power and one is for full timehttps://a.co/d/jbPbpQRI chose my stereo circuit for aux and cabin lighting for full time power sources. Refer to your fuse diagram to identify these, pull the factory fuse and install the piggyback fuse in its place. You should ohm out the leads to determine what terminals to insert the factory fuse and what terminals for the dashcam fuse. The multimeter with one lead on the pigtail to the dashcam and the other lead to probe the fuse terminals on the piggyback until you see continuity. That's your dashcam fuse location. The other for factory fuse.Good luck!

Went through a couple before Vantrue! Best one so far although I had to purchase hard wire kit even if I didn’t need it nor wanted it.

I love the 3 camera system! I Uber and I feel very safe day or night with the interior camera that has inferred for night vision!

Good overall expect, the camera is vulnerable no way of retrieving or downloading / videos unless your phone/Vantrue app is in very close proximity to the camera. It has the ability to record over and over however, if thieves break into my car and take your camera.. you not only lose equipment but aren’t able to view evidence of who and what happened you’ll have no nothing. Even though its wifi compatible and works perfect. The transferring of images can only be done by Sd card and WiFi through vantrue app —- no more than 2 meters away from camera. This technology seems antiquated compared to the times..
