Besides this EnGenius Technologes ECW536 unit, this is what you'll need to buy:* PoE++ Switch. The switch will power the ECW536 via an Ethernet cable and act as a hub for wired connections.* Ethernet Cables: Cat6 or Cat7 to connect your modem/router to the PoE switch, and the PoE switch to the ECW536.Steps to Set It Up:* Connect the PoE Switch:* Plug the PoE switch into a power outlet.* Use an Ethernet cable to connect one port of the switch to your modem/router’s LAN port.* Connect the ECW536:* Use another Ethernet cable to connect the ECW536 to a PoE++ port on the switch. I really wanted to like this AP, but the moment I found out that it required me to login to their EnGenius's "cloud" platform which is an instant no go for me. I shouldn't have to create an online account just to be able to use my hardware and as such I've decided this will not fit my needs.

This access point is a beast. It's a business-grade machine that puts out a very strong and stable signal. I like that it's flexible, and can be set up as a standalone access point or part of a mesh. And, POE makes it a lot easier to put the device in the optimal spot without having to worry about a power connection. (The ceiling mount works great, too.) Also, I really like the all-in-one cloud configuration. This makes it easy to see all the devices at once, and simplifies the setup. Plus, this device doesn't get bogged down by the number of connected devices. Even with 100+ IOT connections simultaneously coming online and trying to "phone home", this AP had no difficulty at all.

This was easy to set up. I decided to install this on my ceiling and power it over Ethernet. It made for a very clean install. I personally like the cloud based management. It is easy to do in the app and the settings are very customizable. This has helped me to futureproof my home. I thought I was going to need at least two of these, but the one seems to be handling everything like a champ. This is the first time i have worked with this brand and I’m now a believer. This router has unlocked the full potential of my 1G internet. We honestly couldn’t be happier. Everyone in my family has noticed the drastic increase in speed and stability.

Make sure you have the right switch to hook this up to before you get it. Once you've set this up be prepared for your hair to be blasted back, your clothes to be blown off with the amazing wireless speed!The setup was so easy to do as well. Even mounting it was so so simple!

This wifi 7 access point provides incredibly fast speeds.It was very easy to setup and get it working.I had zero issues with setting this up and it's been working flawlessly for me.Love it.
