Doesn't work
This does not connect or work. And I ordered weeks ago and the protection plan for some reason keeps delaying to send, which should just be an email. I find that really strange. I made sure to enter the vehicle information and it came up as a match. It will not work at all.

Wireless Carplay!!
Pretty cool device, we now have wireless carplay in our car. I did deduct a star, it's relatively flawless but there have been issues where we needed to restart to get it to connect.

Good Carplay/Android Auto adapter by Coreysoul/ZZ Global Store, but only for newer phones
The wireless Apple/Android car adapter for wired Carplay/AndroidAuto by Coreysoul/ZZ Global Store is made in PRC (china). This adapter has a fully operational android operating system of its own, and I can even install some applications via the play store, but there is not enough capacity to do things like Waze. The Coreysoul adapter also requires a phone to operate since it has no internal sim card slot. I tested this on an older Mazda Connect 7 inch system that is wired only. The box connected to the mazda system without issue, though it takes a couple of minutes to boot and be ready. I tried this with a couple of phones and sim enabled tablets and found that Android 11 is the minimum to get this to work properly. The box itself runs Android 10.The Coreysoul box connects and configures in about thirty seconds, so from start up to using it is about three minutes. I found the interface worked well, and I mostly worked inside the Android Auto part, which is more a testament to my phone/tablet than the Coreysoul box. The adapter does get hot, after a 45 minute drive, I was worried it was too hot to touch. This adapter does work well, but only with more recent phones and android versions. The netflix/youtube stuff does work, but it's on the Coreysoul box itself, and is not as smooth as it is on the phone, so I did not like that part. The adapter box is underpowered CPU wise for streaming video in my opinion. This is a good adapter, but not a good experience when using the built in applications. For the Mazda, this shows up under the Apple Carplay input, and allowed me the use of the touchscreen. That was nice.3 stars

Fixed our Android auto issues
We bought a 2021 Subaru forester for my wife and it had Android auto built in. The problem was that it usually didn't work with either of our phones. The Coreysoul wireless adapter changed all of that. It was very easy to set up and is also easy to use. I love that it allows the apps running on our phones to be controlled on the vehicle's infotainment screen. It's so much easier and safer to have that functionality on the dashboard without having to use the phone itself. I even think that music from my phone sounds better playing through the adapter as opposed to a direct Bluetooth connection to the car infotainment media player. I was initially thinking of giving the device 5 stars after connecting my phone with it, but after adding my wife's phone I lowered it to 4 stars. The Coreysoul box seems to always try to connect to the same phone it previously connected to, even if Bluetooth is turned off on that device. You have to go into your phone's Bluetooth settings and manually connect to the wireless adapter. After that the adapter will automatically connect to your phone. Also, there are times when the device needs to be disconnected from the usb port to reboot it. It's not often but still worth mentioning. Otherwise this adapter makes driving more enjoyable.

It does work...but not well.
This is not my first wireless Android Auto box, so I'm going to be making some comparisons. This does take a while to boot and get everything running, so does my old one, so that's just expected. The settings remind me of some sort of file share interface that people used to get to watch movies on a certain streaming device. It's functional, but not all that easy to navigate sometimes. When using this and talking on the phone through my car, I noticed a significant lag, which I never experienced with my other box or by using my phone itself through bluetooth. A significant concern, this thing gets hot. Not warm. Not heated up by sunlight...it boils water hot. I honestly have a few concerns that it might catch fire or melt, and this is just from AA, not streaming or anything significantly difficult.Overall, I went back to my old one. I'll keep this one to play movies or something if I'm ever stuck somewhere and bored, but for daily use, functionality beats variety.
