I have this filter hooked up outside for my usage. I decided to get this filter system because the cost of spring water in the stores is getting ridiculous. We use spring water or filtered water for almost all of our water consumption needs. Even our pets get special water, so this filter is a marvelous thing to have. It comes with an attachment for a hose to make it simple. I just hooked it to our water hose and then to our supply hookup for our water. At first, the water has a light blue or gray color, but once flushed for a few minutes, the filter does its magic and provides clear delicious water. We cannot tell the difference between store-bought spring water and this water. Tastes just the same. Huge amount of savings using this system, plus it is portable to hook up to hoses almost anywhere. Ideal for traveling, camping, and such. So thankful this exists to help cut costs and gain back a bit of independence with our clean water supply. Great bargain too with the 4 filters for the cost!

These work great with my rv. I can tell a difference in the taste of the water.

Works well and I have continued use after use. Just make sure to drain properly after use and store properly. Great item.

Its good that it comes as a three pack. We have high iron content well water, needed a filter or pool water delivery and the trucks tend to not want to deliver for just a hot tub. The first one had only a trickle come out and then stopped completely, fail. Figuring I had nothing to loose I screwed the second on and it had full flow. Blew out what I figure was activated charcoal and filled my 400 gallon hot tub with no problems. Its an interesting design and I can only think that some times the assembly of the contents does not "lay right" and blocks the flow? So one star off for consistency. However 4 stars for a perfectly fill of the hot tub and using testing strips we were able to go straight to shocking and maintenance treatment.

I used one of these to fill my hot tub this spring and the water is the clearest I've ever had.....IDK how it "works", but it does. These are sturdier than the previous filter I used which I had to reinforce with screws to keep it from falling apart. Those were much different design. Pretty good deal considering the results. Was easy to use. Pop it on the end of your hose like you would a sprayer and fill your tub or pool as you normally would.

I use these for filling my hot tub with well water, they help so much! I wish I bought these years ago! No more dirty water line rings after the water gets treated.
