How refreshing to find a product that actually does what it's supposed to do. There is a very slight learning curve in how to use it properly, but once you get used to it, it works like a charm. It really does form an airtight seal. I'm not really sure how long it will keep because guacamole never lasts very long in my house, but I can comfortably say it will stay fresh for at least one week and probably a good bit longer than that. When it comes to cleaning, it is imperative to take apart the lid and clean it thoroughly, but it is very easy to do and very easy to reassemble. Hand washing is recommended and that is what I do. I have not tried putting it in the dishwasher. This product is not just for guacamole; you can use it for Chicken Salad, Egg Salad, Tuna Salad, etc. Overall, I'm happy with it and glad I bought it.

A great product! It actually does what it’s intended to do: keeping my guacamole fresh & green! It lasted in the fridge 4-5 days as I ate a little bit every day. Highly recommend!!

Works when you first make guacamole but then it doesn’t keep leftovers fresh and it got between the seal and lid, hard to clean.

I made guacamole 8 days ago and used this for the first time. I put it in the fridge and forgot about it for 3 days. It looked perfect and tasted amazing. There was about half of the 3 avocado guac I made left. I rinsed the lid, especially the rubber rim gasket, used a silicone spatula to wipe down the sides. I piled it like a triangle with the majority in the middle so that the lid could press the guac down while removing the air. Put it in the fridge for another 5 days. Took it out tonight for dinner. It was again perfect. There was a tiny amount of browning where the gasket met the bowl. It didn't affect anything I spooned out all the guac except for the rim mark. It was as fresh as the day I made it, maybe better. The saver cleans easily and is one of the best things I've bought. I almost returned it because it was a bit large and I never make that much. So glad I kept it as it works for any size batch. Awesome product!!!!

This seemed great initially- my guacamole didn’t turn brown overnight for the first time ever.But the first time I used it and tried to remove the lid, it broke. The tiny rubber tab is extremely short and hard to get a grip on and when I finally did manage it the green and clear plastic parts of the lid cracked and broke apart.I don’t know if it works better or is easier to remove the lid if the container is almost full, as mine only had about an inch on the bottom, which probably made the tab harder to get a grip on and the lid was wedged further in, but the whole point of it is to keep the leftovers fresh so it should work well with any amount.Now it’s useless. Insanely expensive for something so poorly made.
