The Coop Scoop® 2-in-1 Chicken Poop Scooper & Rake – Durable Sand Sifting Litter Shovel for Chicken Coops & Small Farm Animals

Wow, we LOVE our Bee Jeweled coop scoop. I actually tried other (cheaper) chicken scoopers from Amazon first and had to return them all for quality issues. I’m glad I finally pulled the trigger on this one, it checks all the boxes for me. First of all, it just makes spot cleaning SO easy. I can spot clean an entire 60ft run in under 5 minutes with this scooper which is insane. Secondly, I have bare DIRT in my run and it still works amazing!!! I was worried because dirt is a much harder surface and not listed as a bedding this scooper works with. Well I can say it works pretty great. I was also worried about the mixed reviews on size/length of the scooper and I think it’s all perfect sizing (I’m 5’5). The size allows me to get in difficult spots to clean, it’s lightweight, and the rake is super helpful and convenient. I will probably buy another soon because my kids like to help scoop with me.If I could give any feedback to the seller it would be to eventually offer a metal scoop for a bigger variety of bedding/surfaces, and more color options :) I’m thinking of spray painting mine black to blend in with the coop area.

This rake/shovel/scoop is pretty amazing. It has very good construction. The handle is made of solid wood and the plastic scoop portion is quite thick. It has tines and several holes in it to allow for sifting, thus allowing for smaller particles to fall through and remain while larger clumps are removed.The scoop portion is only about 12” wide but we find it to be adequate. The scoop overall is about 3.5’ in length so it’s easy to maneuver and takes up very little space to store.

I love my Coop scoop!It’s well made and not flimsy plastic. I already feel like it’s going to stand the test of time unlike some of the others I have seen in Tractor Supply. It has been easy to use and since I use sand in my coop I love that it sifts easily but also holds the waste that I don’t want in my coop.If I could request only one thing, it would be an option for a longer handle. I’m 5’7” for reference.

This thing is so small. The actual scoop is about 1/2 the size I thought it would be while the handle is about 12" too short. Perfect for my 9 year old to help out, but way too small for a grown human. And I am just over 5' tall.Update: The seller saw my review and reached out to me unprompted and offered a full refund. If I end up receiving the refund, I will come back and add 1 star for some pretty incredible customer service. I have never had a seller do that before. It doesn't change the fact that this thing is tiny, but at least you can be confident that if it doesn't work for you, the seller is willing to excel at customer expectations.Update #2: The seller did note that this product is meant for smaller coops, and it would probably work well for that, but we have a pretty large coop and need something significant in size. The seller also mentioned that they may sell larger sizes in the future. I responded letting the seller know that the pictures are deceiving for what the actual size is, but that if they do eventually offer larger sizes, they have earned me as a future customer simply because of the outstanding customer service. Added an extra star for this very reason.

EDIT: Following my previous review of this product, even though I personally have some problems with the scoop does not mean everyone will. The seller contacted me and was very helpful in giving me tips, tricks and being very honest with me regarding their product. I hope the tips they so generously offered to me are what I needed to know to be able to use this product to the best of my ability. They treated me with respect and kindness. This type of behavior is what I would hope other companies would follow as well.The product was smaller than expected. Made of plastic instead of metal. It is made at an angle which makes it difficult to use in a coop that is lifted off the ground. And the pole is too short. Not what I expected and will have to purchase something else that works better for my coop. This scoop was not worth the money.

One handed cleaning! I’ve been avoiding cleaning my coop all winter because it was such a hassle with the garden range and shovel and wheelbarrow situation. But with the Coop Scoop and a five gallon bucket I was able to easily clean out so much. And my run has never looked better. And it’s so much more motivating and easier, with just one hand, to clean things up. And the plastic has been pretty sturdy so far. I was afraid the tines would break getting caught in the hardware mesh, but it hasn’t yet! And it can pick up some hefty loads of sawdust and manure! 100% recommend!!!

After weighing my options I decided to go with this scoop for my sand filled chicken coop and run. It has been so great to use and the added feature of the rake makes it very satisfying to smooth out after scooping. Like a giant zen garden lol. Customer support is also so nice and super helpful when I had a question about the item. Highly recommend!

At first I was quite hesitant to buy one of these since the there are people saying how these could be quite filmsy and would not last for too much heavy duties. But I ended up buying it and good lord i should have listened to the reviews.Firstly, the stick itself is a little too short for me. I am about 5'9'' and I will have to constantly bend down to use this scoop, already not super comfortable.Next, the plastic scoop was broken upon only a couple of uses. It is absolutely not durable at all.I think I would be sticking to the metallic scoop for that reason.
