Very Good Product.
One of the more authoritative editions of the Chopin Etudes, and quite a lot of helpful text.Very good quality paper .Alfred Cortot was born just 28 years after Chopin passing and he would have had a lot of access to a lot of Chopin's pupils and colleagues . So what he has to say about style and Technique is worth listening to.GREAT STUFF ......

Superb musical & pianistic insights, plus well printed score
Here you are in the presence of a master pianist and teacher, one who understands the guidance most people might need in approaching these works. He gives good technical analysis, then suggests ways of approaching difficulties, supplying exercises to tackle these. The musical advice is sound, and the fingering suggestions alone make this a must have volume. It is well printed and bound, ample room to annotate round the score. A feast of musical knowledge and insight - which i had bought it sooner!

Great book
Incredible book. I have been studying op.10 for all my life. With this book I had a different point of view of the mechanisms and technique. I am so happy, I have the feeling to get classes from Cortot. Bit expensive but it worths.
