Don't be put off by the name.
Really solid drives, used them in many builds and always been reliable and surprisingly fast, at a budget price, don't be put off by the name.

Seems good
Seems to be a good drive, easy to install, fast speed and works ok. It does get hot though and time will tell how well it lasts in terms of reliability, but so far it seems good value

Good speed but falls short
This drive has a lot of key features going for it. And for the average user it’s a solid drive. But if you start to push the drive a bit harder it falls short.Firstly the read and write speeds are great. As advertised. Very fast. The storage size is decent for the cost. When you have windows installed everything loads really fast and is very snappy. Loading a game is very fast. Doing the basics is fine with this drive. But where it falls down, and falls hard, is transfers. It’s fine reading and writing to another drive. And pretty much in reverse. The sustained speeds aren’t brilliant but fast enough. The issue is writing to the drive whilst using the system.Like with cheap SSDs, if you are downloading a game, or transferring any files to the drive, it makes windows very laggy. Sometimes the downloads even stop. And when extracting files from this drive to itself, it drops to around 80MB/s. Worse than a cheap SSD. This is where getting a branded drive, which can have slower raw speed, has the hardware to cope with things like this and might give a better experience.I’d only suggest getting the drive for basic use. For that it’s priced okay and is fast.
