Great glue for Tolex
I'm building some custom amplifier and speaker cases, and covering them with black Tolex -- a vinyl material frequently used on guitar amps. The 3M Super 77 spray adhesive has turned out to be perfect for the job. Easy to apply, reasonable working time, and good adhesion, with no lumps. One word of caution: make sure you use drop cloths to protect surfaces that you don't want sprayed, and a solvent that doesn't attack vinyl. I found the 3M citrus-based spray glue remover to be good for this. With appropriate glue and solvent in hand, this made what is often a messy, tedious job go smoothly, and produced professional-looking results.

SUPER STICKY AND NO ISSUES WITH SEPARATION OR PEELING APART. A VERY EXCELLENT PRODUCT...
I was doing a small job with my Barska Loaded Gear Hard Case styrofoam inserts. I contacted Barska and they told me the best way to to have the foam stick together and will not separate is by using 3M Super 77 adhesive spray. I ordered this product and it was at my home pretty quick. The reason for the 1 or 2 delay is because this product has to be shipped ground because it is a pressurized container. So expect the little delay when ordering this. I used the product as directed and the job came out unbelievably intact and clean and I have had absolutely no issues with separation or peeling. A very wise choice if you need this product. Make sure to follow all the instructions and to use caution with ventilation and any open flames. Read, follow and understand all directions and take caution in discarding the empty can.

Great product does what it says no lasting odors, time will tell.
This works excellent, but so far I've only used it twice and as with all these products the proof is if I have to store the product and then use it again will the top be jammed? As far as what is used for it's an excellent product doesn't leave a lot of lasting smell and did what it said it would do one more.

Crafting time saver!
This glue was so great for a crafting project I did while making my Halloween costume this year. I made large butterfly wings (see pictures) and I had to attach a lot of pieces of felt together. Due to the size of the felt, a glue gun took too much time for anything other than small pieces and sewing wasn't an option. I decided to try out this glue and I was not disappointed! I used this glue to attach felt to a piece of poster board and then another piece of felt on the other side. Then I attached cut out pieces of felt onto the felt base. To attach everything, I sprayed the felt on one side with this glue and let it sit for 30 seconds or until it felt a bit tacky. Then I applied the pieces. It made little mess and the glue held really well, I had no problems with it coming undone once dry. I used this glue on my kitchen table and got some on the table, but was able to clean it up with some rubbing alcohol. If using inside, I would recommend opening a few windows as the fumes can be a bit much! Overall, I was super impressed with how well this held my costume together and I would use it again in a heart beat for similar projects.

Versatile spray glue is a must have
Super 77 is some great stuff. It is one of those things that everyone should have a can of stashed away. I've used for repairing car headliner, making insulation stick to wall, simply adhering two items together, making things super grippy (although this can be pretty messy), and the most unique use would be killing carpenter bees that destroy wood. Nothing else I had would kill them. So I got the genius idea to try super 77 glue I had setting around. It binds their wings and drops them instantly so you can simply step on them and kill them.

New formulation = Useless
I ordered this spray adhesive again bit was sent the wrong stuff. I received the <30% VOC formulation instead, which is useless. It takes so long to dry and then the tags just falls off when you touch it. Since they changed the formula, the glue just doesnt work anymore. Apparently we are not able to receive the original type of adhesive in California anymore, and I have no use for this new formulation - it is useless.

Best one I have used so far.
This stuff can glue your mother in law to the wall! I am impressed by how good of a bond it creates and the drying time. I threw carpet in the back of an old BMW and I loved how easy and how strong the carpet bonded to the floor. Not to mention, I did it all with less than a can, all the resiudal stuff on my fingers washed right off. 3M killed it with this.

I wouldn't recommend this for anything that any pressure on it
This stuff is not near as sticky as it's made out to be. It holds well if there's no pressure on it. I used it to glue the pockets of a slate pool table. When stretched and tucked under the slate, it holds for a few minutes and then peels off. I wouldn't recommend this for anything that any pressure on it.
