Good product that works well and cheap for the price
There is nothing special about this product, it just works and is pretty robust which is what you need from a product that is used everyday. The best thing about this was the price definitely worth the money, and will buy again when needed

good value for money and great compatible alternative to more expensive items
great value for money very easy to use. use them frequently. Not sure if new printers will accept though my printer and PC is used to these.

These drives are fine. They lack an LED to indicate disk activity, but that's not essential

Add on price plenty storage
Got two of these as I tend to transfer data around quite a bit an being a bit of a tinkerer with old pcs I like see what will run on them such as linux so have also used them to try different linux operating systems for myself and friends. they have fared well and tempted use on in my car with music on as they have done what I wanted so far. May get a few more at this price when I order something else.

Extremely good value for the price
I purchased these 16gb usb drives and they arrived the following morning. I had purchased afew together, for my grandchildren.They wete extremly good value for money, and in the last 20 years this brand has no failed me.

Slower than expected - especially when they register as USB2.0
When I inserted these into my USB ports, all 5 of these devices showed up as USB2.0 - WTF, Had a long discussion with KIngston support - drives are legitimate, Evidently, I was managing to part connect the USB drive so the drive registered as USB2.0 - if I pushed the drive in harder on insertion, the drive registered as USB3.0.So I learnt that how hard you insert a USB drive matters -and I guess once the drive is registered, it won't re-register without removing it.

Not all USB drives are equivalent
I own one of these super-fancy curved widescreen Samsung monitors that needs firmware updating from time to time. The easiest way is using a USB drive. However, all of my USB drives -- which seemingly worked perfectly fine -- would not complete the firmware update. I saw on the forums a success story using this drive; so, I bought one. And it worked.Imagine that. Shame on Samsung but Kingston was there to save the day for a firmware update that I actually didn’t need :)
