My story:Till I went to get a haircut and my barber professionally gave me advice on thinking about getting something for my hair, as he noticed it was thinning. I’m in my early 20s and that’s something that I don’t want to hear. He recommended me Actiive. Told me all about and I was skeptical because it’s a 100$ shampoo and yet I can buy one from my local grocery for way less than that….you can only take care of your hair for so much, until you have surgery root implants….My review:This product does what it says it does. I definitely recommend getting the conditioner too. The smell is unique and definitely manly. You will love washing your hair with confidence once you start seeing results. IT DOES TAKE TIME TO SEE RESULTS. Be patient and you will notice. Definitely recommend for any man.

I've used this for one full year, so I have to say this is a fair evaluation of the product. It did not promote growth of new hair, however, it did seem to make my hair grow a little faster. Sure, it smelled nice and made my hair look good, but my normal shampoo did the same thing. I have also noticed lately that my hair is getting thinner on top of my scalp, so I don't believe this promotes hair retention either, at least for me.

I was very skeptical when my barber mentioned this to me. I had said to her that I noticed that in pictures I was often seeing a thinning spot in my hair (I have dark black hair so the scalp showing through created a light spot). After using this for about 3 months, using it every other day and using a timer to be sure I left it in t for 5 min...... the light spot wasn't showing up any more in photos - and I looked for it especially after I got my hair cut - when my hair was the shortest and it wasnt there. Now I stopped using for about 3 months and the thinning spot started to return.... so this doesn't seem to permanently reverse the situation but it does help. But I am buying it again.

This product does not work.. just make you keep buying the product.

I am retired military and on Veterans Day I went to hair salon that caters to sports fans and got a free hair cut, wash, hot facial towel, and back massage. The stylist was very nice and we had a nice chat while I was there. I was thankful for the free treatment and knew they get commission on products they sell so I asked the girl if she had any recommendations for me. I have quite a bit of hair loss but still have thick hair on the sides but very thin on top. She recommended ACTIIV shampoo and conditioner and told me she had seen results in other clients. I was skeptical but wanted to buy something so I decided to give it a try. I followed the directions on the products and about 4 weeks later I noticed my thin hair was really getting thicker. I said something to my wife and she agreed. I decided to buy another bottle of shampoo & conditioner and will continue to use it.
