Imported Russian Roasted Sunflower Seeds Babkiny 17.63 Ounce, 500gr (Pack of 2)

I can't talk enough about how good these are. You don't even have to shell them. They're so delicate and rice paper crispy. And none of that horrible dried out mouth you get with american salted sunflower seeds.

I love sunflower seeds. I grew up with them. I probably tried every version of these one could think of; roasted, raw, gray ones, black ones, shelled, unshelled, salted, unsalted, you name it. These Babkiny sunflower seeds are still my favorite. For black sunflower seeds, they are pretty big in size. They are so perfectly roasted, they nearly pop out of the shells on their own. The quality of the actual seed is great; it’s fairly well preserved, it’s not overdone. There is no salt added, (which is great if you are concerned about your health)and yet they still are probably the most delicious sunflower seeds I’ve ever tried.

They tasted stale and both packs were expired way before a purchase date .

Exactly how I want it…a lot of flavor and easy to open seeds, even by fingers( for someone who don’t want to use teeth)

These seeds were very fresh. Package states several months from now is the expiration which is important because a lot of people complained about freshness but for me no problems. I believe I purchased the lightly salted variety but they arrived unsalted which is great as I wanted unsalted to begin with but still would have liked to receive exactly what I bought but at 7 bucks a bag you cant complain, especially when they arrive fresh.

They taste just like I remember growing up in Ukraine. Easy to crack, fresh and nicely roasted.
