This worked for me (so far). My use is really just cosmetic. Some of my epoxy paint separated from the galvanized and I had a big ugly metal spot in the middle of the pool. I didn't want to do a new paint job yet so I'm seeing this as a temporary patch. As you see in the picture, it is not a direct match for my paint, but it's an upgrade over looking at a patch of galvanized metal. The vinyl is fairly thin and the sticky side seems to adhere pretty well to my surfaces (galvanized metal and sanded epoxy paint) but I suspect this would not work as a patch. Just applied so we'll see how long it lasts.

Complete and total garbage for above ground pool repair. Self adhesive is a joke and they don’t mention that the glue they provide will dissolve your surface so don’t try to use it! This product isn’t made for pool liners or pool toys as it dissolves the material. Amazon should ban this as it’s you going to destroy many vinlyl surfaces. Shame on seller and Amazon

I picked this up to do a vinyl repair on a canopy.Pros: Comes with adhesive backing to aid in install. Decent sized sheet to allow for multiple small repairs or a few large repairs. Includes liquid adhesive as well.Cons: Very thin material. Comes folded and not rolled.I was a little disappointed that the material is so thin, I was expecting it to be about twice as thick as what I received.

This proved to be incredibly helpful. Our pool got damaged in storage of the winter break and we needed to repair a hole before we could fill it up with water. I wasn't sure if we could even patch it up until I came across this piece of vinyl. Being able to attach a 4.3 ft piece of material that is adhesive itself made this task pain free and easy. It actually works and is strong enough to keep a good grip. Even wet. Such a great deal! I definitely recommend to anyone in need of vinyl to repair a hole, whether it's an inflatable pool or waterbed, or even a nice, big slide for the kids, this is the perfect tool and bc it's 4.3 ft, I can't imagine you needing anything else. Such a great buy!

Came fast works well please with the product

This come at such a great price and will cover a ton of surface area. I got this for some preventative measures for my above ground pool. My pool is five years old and is left up year round and is starting to show its age. I got this because there are some seems that are starting to thin out and I wanted to make sure it will last through this summer for one last season. The vinyl is easy to use, cut the area you want to cover plus some extra to overlap. Peel and stick. Mine did come with some extra glue, however I did not use any. The vinyl seems very durable and Im happy to have it to give me some extra assurance my pool won’t leak. Compared to some other products I’ve seen around this is a great value.

no when applied glue to it it shrank and not sure if it worked cause have a hole in pool either from this patch or somewhere else
