Works well in our back yard
Used them the past couple summers and they’re very effective when sitting on the backyard deck. The smoke doesn’t bother us. I got those metal holders to keep them in so that they don’t make a mess.

They work and last a long time! Smell is pretty decent for a mosquito repellent
Just be careful taking them apart so they do not brake. They work great to keep mosquitoes away. The smell is not too annoying for the people. It is smoke, at the end of the day, but it has a nice scent. Set a couple in a corner and forget about getting bit for the rest of the night. They do last for hours as advertised.

Old School product, Still better than new items!
These are Old School and still around for a reason! They work!!!Vintage Folks will remember these as being sold at the snack bar at the Drive In movies! They were supposed to be lit and placed on the dash of your car....No!no!no! That's way too intense! But they ARE absolutely fantastic on the patio, placed strategically 12' +/- apart. I place & light them near my house doors when I want to let the dogs & fresh air come & go without mosquitoes coming in the house. They smell nice (incensey), burn for hours and work like a charm!IMO, the Original Pic brand is much better than the "Off" copycat and much cheaper. This vendor has best prices on web, third order and never received any broken coils.

It’s a cintronella punk.
Upon opening the first 4 pack of 10 I find out that it is essentially a punk, like for the 4th of July. They come winded together and I guarantee you cannot get all of the apart without breaking 1/2. Was hoping an easier replacement than thermocell but you can smell it like a punk and looks like you need to put it up wind of where you’re at. I’d be cautious. Would probably work great on an inclosed porch but I’m just placing random broken chucks around me outside in Kansas in the summer. If I don’t get bit and have to smell it non stop then maybe I’ll change my reviews.
