It's not an exact science, as it depends on culturing conditions. Generally speaking, each of the 4 included starter packets can culture a quart at a time, with the potential to culture 2–7 more times. Thus the total yield is between 1 and 8 gallons.

Q: How do I "re-culture" with this starter, since there are no grains to strain out?
