Good product, Cant say essential product
The steam mop is very good in giving a clean surface. For people with allergies, one sweep with this will clear old mattesses, cots and other such items.It is not an essential item in hot places like Chennai but the way it cleans a surface is good.Go for it if you have the money and space to store.

Power cord too short; 15A plug point needed
I was excitedly looking forward to use this steam cleaner. But alas! Not only does it require a 15A plugpoint (not so easily available in normal houses) but the power cord is tooooo short - one can hardly go 8-10 feet with it. I would have expected a longer power cord. Disappointed! Think again before buying this. Furthermore the Amazon site says I can return it. Ut they are refusing to take it and exchange it for another steam cleaner

It removes the stains slowly and gradually after repeated usage. Due to over enthusiasm, if you spread Baking soda or neutral water just before steaming, you are sure to get wheezing bronchitis. So, no chemicals before steaming.

Disappointed with product
The product did not turn on though it came a sealed and is brand new. The product is sturdy and easy to move around. The extensions provided are easy to fit together. The power cord is not long enough and you will need an extension cord that has a 15A plug option.## Important: The plug needs a 15 AMP plug point (similar to one for the refrigerators) and will not fit in the usual 5 AMP plugs that most households have. Please consider this before you purchase.
