PediFix Visco-Gel Toe Spacers - Straighten Crooked Toes, Overlapping Toes, Hammer Toes, Bunions - Size Medium

I have a severe bunion on my right foot. The left foot has a less severe bunion. I am a woman and wear a size 10 shoe. The medium gel insert (2 in a pack) worked perfectly with my more severe bunion. It kept slipping out on my less severe bunion so I think I may try the smaller size gel insert for my left foot. These are easy to clean - soap and water, dry quickly. Mine did not get sticky but if they did then I could have used a light coating of foot powder. It stayed in overnight without socks! And I can wear it without socks around the house! Now, I don't like doing that - it does pick up dust and lint - and I am afraid of losing it someday - I really like them. Since it is clear, you can even wear with open toed shoes (sandals, peep toe heels, etc..) I don't know about flip-flops as I don't wear them. I also wear them in conjunction with a flexible splint to make sure I am getting a maximum stretch with the splint. The only down side is that they are clear (really not a down side as I can use them discreetly with sandals) so they are easy to lose. It is important to have a designated place to keep them (like losing my car keys) they temporarily disappear all the time.

I have an issue with my big toe on one foot. I noticed lately it seems to have increased in angle which I believe is causing me to run weird on that leg perhaps to do the misalignment of the toe. So I decided to see if these would help. They were shipped very quickly and I started wearing them right away. They are "Medium-fits most" although I checked on Amazon and they do sell "small" and "large" ones. These I believe are perfect for me, I wear a size 8 but not sure if that helps you. I'd say my bunion is average from some of the pics I've seen online of really bad cases. Anyway to my delight they are very comfortable and most the time do not even notice they are in my shoe. I wear them around the house, most comfortable and have tried them at the gym. I really like them. There is less pain and redness since I started using them. I even wear it to bed and most of the time it stays put without socks, but with socks they have never fallen out if you can handle wearing socks to bed. I'm going to keep using them because they help! I don't know if these will do anything to help with realigning of the bone but I don't want surgery. These do provide relief and that's what I was looking for and to improve my running, particularly better striking of the foot. I've been using them for about a week and love 'em. I will try to update after a few months to see if there are any changes. I also bought the pedifix rubber ones and prefer these hands down over them.

I have found this toe spacer to be quite comfortable. I place it between my big toe and the next toe. At first I wore it for a few hours at a time and then it would start to bother me. Eventually I started wearing it over night and then all day too. I find that it makes my foot feel better. It's not going to cure my bunion, but it does make it more comfortable. The one caveat is that it is not very comfortable in shoes because it spreads your toes apart. You need shoes with a really wide toe box to wear this comfortably inside them. I wear this spacer with no shoes and with socks to keep from losing the spacer. When I need to wear shoes I take it off. It washes easily. I rinse it with water to clean it daily and occasionally use soap and water to clean it more thoroughly. I would recommend giving this a try to see if it offers you some bunion pain relief.

Not sure if it’s just me and my hammer toes (oh, Joy, one on each foot) or if the gel isn’t strong enough to stand erected or if I need a bigger size.I ordered a M and had more success on one toe vs. the other toe on my other foot.I may order up and see if that’s it but I think I will first shop around for a stronger material than gel. Probably won’t be as comfortable as gel but it may offer more support that I obviously need.Will update at later date.

These are comfortable and I wear them almost every day - they really help with my overlapping toes and bunions. I also have worn them when doing a half marathon and I was very happy not to get black toe! I wash mine with my delicate cold wash laundry in one of those mesh bags and air dry.

These are my life savers because I have hammertoes and they keep my toes apart and I can walk good. Otherwise it would be extremely painful for me to walk. With the toe spacers I can walk miles with no problem in comfort.UPDATE: Earlier this month I walked a 1/2 Marathon, actually walked 13.5 miles in 4 1/2 hours. So I am not a speed demon, but I can endure. I am 73 years old. I smoked cigarettes for 60 years, quitting on 1-18-2014. I am training to be able to walk a marathon. These tow spacers are the main reason I can walk these distances, PLUSa special shout out and thanks to the seller Pharmapacks, LLC. Their packaging and service are 2nd to none. I have been using the Pedifix hammer toe cushions for a while now and they great, so I decided to give these toe spacers a go as well.I wear these on my days off when I'm home, or just in the evenings while watching TV and they have helped increase blood flow and gently spread my toes apart without pain.They are easy to keep clean (chuck them in the sink when you wash the dishes!) and seem to be almost indestructible.They are not a cure for hammer toe or toes that have been pushed together inside shoes for 50 years, but they are making my aching feet a little easier to live with. And great value for money. I'm going to order some more just to keep some spares handy.Give them a try, you've got nothing to lose except a couple of dollars and possibly less pain.

Didn't fine these helpful, and that could be due to not really needing them (yet). If you have toes rubbing against each other due to a severe bunion, they may be called for, though I cannot be sure of that. In my case, the toes are still fairly well aligned, so these were just uncomfortable without reason. Will save them for later...
