This is a handy tool. Does exactly what the description says. It's great for those who don't want to wear a smart watch. This product has a nice, long battery life. Would buy again.

Simple and Effective Step Counter
I recently purchased the 3DFitBud Simple Step Counter, and it has been a great addition to my daily routine. The pedometer is incredibly easy to use—just pull out the tab to activate it, clip it on, and start walking. There's no need for any setup or connections to smartphones, which makes it perfect for those who prefer a straightforward device. The 3D Tri-Axis Sensor Technology ensures accurate step counting regardless of how you wear it. The large display is easy to read, and the included clip and lanyard offer multiple wearing options. The battery life is impressive, lasting up to 12 months with an auto-sleep function to preserve power.Overall, this pedometer is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to track their steps without any hassle. It's simple, reliable, and highly effective. I highly recommend it!

Replaced my Fitbit Zip - Update
I've had a Zip for many years (was on my 4th), but it just started sucking the batteries dry (in 1-2 weeks). I got this to replace that & it works great. I no longer need the app, Internet connection, or location tracking to get & log my numbers. Reset it each day & off I go. I have nothing bad to say about it.Update 01-07-2022: Since I purchased this item, I have found that about once a month, it randomly will stop displaying my steps. I shake it in every different direction possible & the screen remains blank. The only way to fix it is to hold the reset button on the back. The display comes back on, but it also resets my numbers to zero, meaning I lost the entire previous day's (I reset mine each morning) step count. It is a small thing, I guess, but I find it annoying to lose that data. It doesn't happen often, but sure is annoying when it does. For this, I have cut my rating from 5-starts to 4-stars.

Keeps on working!
I have had this counter for several years and it keeps on working. I've dropped it several times and it keeps on working. It is great.

Not even close.
Not even close.I bought a cheap pedometer and it was off by a lot so I went for the more expensive version. And it's not even close. I take the same route everyday and I once counted the steps with a manual counter. Out of 1000 steps, it was 300 steps off.Enough to said

So far so good!
Just received this yesterday and so far so good! Seems easy enough to use and to reset every day. Hopefully it stands up overtime and accurately tracks my steps. I like that I can securely attach it to the laces of my sneakers. When I’m not wearing sneakers, I’ll attach it to my waistband.

Exactly what I was looking for.
I was looking for a pedometer that wasn't too expensive that would accurately track my daily steps better than free apps available on my phone (as my phone is too large to carry on my body throughout the entire day). I love the size and simplicity of this pedometer. As far as I am aware, it does not upload the data or link the information directly to any apps or anything fancy like that, but that was not one of the features that I was interested in. I have been using it for almost two full months now and it is super convenient. I log my steps at the end of the day and then hold the button to reset it back to zero, and then in the morning I just grab it and clip it to me when I get up out of bed and it is as easy as that. It does have a delayed start (I believe it waits 10 steps before it starts showing that it is counting) which initially concerned me, but after a few times of watching it while walking I confirmed that while it doesn't immediately start changing when you first start moving, it is logging those steps and once you get past the first 10 steps it starts moving and adds those first 10 steps to the total. Anyway, it is a great simple pedometer at an affordable price. Very happy with my purchase.

Easy to use, but inacceptably inaccurate
The 3DFitBud Simple Step Counter Walking 3D Pedometer could not be easier to use. Hold in the reset button for a few seconds to zero it out when you wake up, then stick it in your pants pocket or carry it on the supplied lanyard or in your purse or bag way, and read your steps whenever you want. The display is large and easy to read. It is not lighted, but that saves circuitry, size, and battery life.Unfortunately, the pedometer I purchased was not accurate. As a test, I carried it in my left pants pocket while walking on my treadmill for about 25 minutes. In my right pants pocket, I carried my Android smartphone with a pedometer app I downloaded at no cost.I compared the readings on both devices to the steps tracked by my treadmill.I have repeatedly checked my treadmill's step-counting accuracy over the years by counting my steps as I walk, and comparing them to the treadmill. Consistently, over 2,000 steps, the treadmill never varies from my actual count by more than two steps, which is a maximum error of only 1/10 of one percent (0.001).So I was comfortable using my treadmill's reading as the standard for a comparison of the 3DFitBud Simple Step Counter Walking 3D Pedometer and the smartphone app.The free downloadable app on my phone was extremely close to the treadmill's reading. It varied from the treadmill by less than 1/2 of one percent (0.004).On the other hand, the 3DFitBud Simple Step Counter Walking 3D Pedometer had an unacceptable error of eight percent (0.080).Furthermore, the error is not consistent. I've done several tests. Sometimes the 3DFitBud reads high and sometimes it reads low, compared to actual steps counted. And some errors were much higher than eight percent. So, sadly, I'm returning the 3DFitBud Simple Step Counter Walking 3D Pedometer to Amazon for a refund. I'll use the free app I downloaded for my Android. It's my understanding a basic pedometer may com standard on Apple phones. If not, I'm sure such apps are available. Just search for "pedometer."
