Makes her purr much nicer!!!
Love it! Install took roughly an hour. The hardest part was rounding up all the tools if you don't have very many variations of the "screwdriver." The filter came with a detailed diagram instruction packet and fits snug and perfect. After the install, I noticed the engine purr much nicer. I haven't seen a gas mileage effect just yet because the product was just installed and I've been pushing the truck slightly more that I normally do to listen to the sound. So far a great purchase for the truck and I would definitely do it over again if the truck needed another filter... but because it's a K&N, you'll never need another one!!!For anyone who needs assistance, I found a video on YouTube from K&N showing install process. It's really not hard at all and believe me, it makes the truck sound amazing from the front end.PROS:Great sounding growl from motorNot too hard to installLooks amazing under the hood without being too flashyMakes driving a little more funCONS:Did not see a MPG increaseSqueals at roughly 2,000 RPMPhotos on instructions hard to see

STRESSFULL!!!
I love it 100%!!! Best unit on themarket for the price and the chrome looks great. The issue was the install. I have a brand new Tundra TRD and its black... so you know leaning over the truck was on the stressfull side :) It installed simple based on the part and directions but the fact it was my truck... you get the idea. Im a little concerned about the vacume line adapter, it seems a little brittle for a winter install, so i would wait till a warm day when you tighten it down. Other than that it looks great, sounds nice (no whistle) and seems to be great quality over all. I would buy again when i get another truck or car. Cant beat K&N, or the price Amazon charges!!!

Power increase for pennies on the dollar...
Easy installation! It took about 35 minutes to install the kit. The instructions were fairly clear. Only one minor issue with the ground cable attachment point, but that took just a second to figure out. The filter install was very straight forward. I had a pretty significant increase in torque or at least the "feel" I had behind the wheel. I didn't dyno my Tundra to know for sure, but I could very easily feel the difference. My MPG went up from about 12.5 ave to around 14.5 just around the city. Highway/freeway MPG is up to about 20.5 ave.I all I'm very satisfied with this product and would highly recommend it as a quick, fun install with some really great results in my trucks performance! Love the improved "throaty" SOUND!

Works as advertised
Installed in my son's 2018 5.7 Tundra. Sounds better, little more power, improved gas mileage. My son and I installed it in about an hour, and we don't have much as far as mechanical skills - if you can work a ratchet and screwdriver you can install it.

LOUD when open up the throttle.
This thing is loud in the cab of the truck. This air filter fit perfectly, it was easy to install, looks great, and performs exactly like K&N promised. When you go pedal to the floor....it makes some serious growl. It's supposed to give you a couple of extra HP. But, on a 6000LB truck...a couple of HP makes very little difference. If I could do it over again, I probably would have just left the stock air filter on. I combined this with a Borla Cat-Back System. The truck sounds good.Normal driving in town and normal 70-75mph on the hwy, you don't hear much additional noise. Only when you get on it does it show it's growl.

Very impressed
Very impressed with the immediate horsepower gains as advertised. I was a little intimidated at first with amount of parts and hardware but the very clear and detailed instructions made it a breeze. I wish I'd bought this sooner because my 2012 Tundra 5.7L should have sounded this good long ago. Everything fit perfectly with only a slight trimming of the heat shield gasket. Very impressed by the results for a small amount of labor. Excellent product 👌

Too much assembly required and TOO LOUD!
First of all, K&N really needs to do something to make this simpler and easier to install. There are way too many pieces to this puzzle. It takes too much time to assemble all the bolts, washers, spacers, nuts and everything else. Luckily the instructions are EXCELLENT! You couldn't ask for better instructions. For an intake system that comes with a seal that goes all the way around the heat shield, it doesn't seal to anything except the fender. If you use your vehicle for farming, your filter will be a mess all the time. It doesn't seal along the front, back, or the top - especially the top, so why make assembly so difficult and time consuming with the three mounting brackets being adjustable for the heat shield? And trying to get the bolt in at the back of the heat shield and remount the horn at the same time is impossible. I had to pull the heat shield back out, remove the bracket from the heat shield, mount the bracket and the horn to the vehicle, then fight like crazy to reassemble the bracket back to the heat shield with a bolt, washer, and a spacer where it is almost impossible to get your hand into.Once I finally had all the pieces of the puzzle assembled and everything closed up, then came the test drive. With no enclosed air box for the filter, this sucker is LOUD! I installed a moderate sounding exhaust system and can't hear the exhaust over the intake. So if loud is what you want, this is a good intake for you. I had to return it.
