When this arrived, it was much smaller than I expected. (My fault- I should have read the physical specs) It works great though and due to its small size, you can mount it almost anywhere.

works as advertised. just smaller than expected. my mistake for not reading how large there were. the only reason I did not give them 5 stars.

Piece of junk !! Crap ! Tiny little switch , locking nut didn't even fit , Amazon should not even list this product ! China junk , waste of money , sad to think we would let this crap in to USA market place , does not even deserve a star but Amazon says I got to give one ,

Good for small projects, but skip it for anything you need to rely on. Average quality for a chinese switch. The 1 amp load rating is probably a bit much and the terminals are small solder on type. Best for very low current and non exposed/non critical applications.Keys are about as sturdy as a soda can tab and the lock can be turned with a screwdriver (probably with a soda can tab too...). If you want something more fun than a toggle switch (model rockets, power wheels, nuclear missile launch controller) this will work. If you actually intend to use this to prevent even mildly determined person (or disinterested child armed with a screwdriver) from doing something, look elsewhere.

This worked great for the project I was working on. It handled 12 volts at 6 amps no problems. Good bang for your buck. It is smaller!!!

Well built and works well. I bought these because I got an RV that someone else tore out the key switch, so I set up these two switches and a few relays and now it's nearly impossible to steal my RV.

This key switch came smaller than I thought it would be. I purchased it for use on my train horn so that you would have to turn the key to blast it. They key feels a little bit loose when it's in the switch, but it still gets the job done as far as requiring a key to turn the switch.

This was A LOT smaller than I had expected. The size isn't the problem, it's that while the outside is made of some sort of metal, the back and inside of the switch isn't. It's made of plastic which has since melted due to contacts heating up from the current that I ran though it, causing the switch to fail.It may work for low current applications, but if you'll be using it for anything that passes 10 amps (which is already pretty high for a small switch like this) or higher through the switch, don't use or buy this one.
