Rema Vulcanizing Fluid 10g Tube

Works great. Patch kits come with tiny bottles of glue that dry out quickly if you actually open them for use. On the other hand, the patches seem to last forever. Over the years I've accumulated a lot of patches and had no glue to use with them. We'll see how long this glue stays good. Will it last a few years? Or will it be like Crazy Glue - where you basically get a single use once you open it. Time will tell. So far it works great.

I have not yet needed to use this item to fix a flat, but I have used Rema patches and glue many times before and they work very well. However, the kits never include enough glue these days and I was sitting on about 50 patches with no glue, so I decided to buy this. Well, the price for this small tube of glue is outrageous. I was hoping it would be larger than it was. No joke, you can buy over-the-counter drugs in larger tubes for much less money. Shame on whoever now owns Rema and includes a fraction of the glue the kits used to have 30 years ago, i.e. a fraction of what is needed for all the patches. And double shame for selling these glue tubes at gouging prices.

The price was really cheap and with individual small tubes they don't dry out while waiting for another flat tire as a big can would.

A bit of off-label use perhaps but excellent results nonetheless! A bit expensive for the small tube but I didn't find a better price elsewhere.I used this to repair an expensive Israeli walking sandal with excellent results. I took a piece of rubber from a tire repair kit, slathered some Rema vulanizing fluid on it and jammed it into the cracked rubber outersole of my sandal. Inspected a day later: as good as new: the rubber piece had completely bonded with the original surrounding rubber of the shoe. Saved over $100 by doing this!

It' not efficient.

Works great.After use place some plastic wrap under the cap when you put it back on. This will keep it from evaporating.

I'm basing this review on a Rema patch kit I bought at the LBS.It makes the Bell etal kits look like a Yugo vs a Mercedes.Round, feather edge patches blend in near seamlessly instead of having the appearance of a brick glued on the side of your tube.I liked the one kit so much, I ordered 100 patches & 2 tubes of glue for the future.

This stuff works good as long as it doesn't dry up on the tube. Patched many bike tubes with this stuff.
