Good choice
Depending on how hot your forehead is, it may or may not last a long time. I run hot with migraines so I keep a spare to switch off and on until the headache passes. I love the way it wraps and then has velcro to keep it in place, especially when sleeping.

The relief you need and ready when you need it
This band has been a godsend. I have suffered from both sinus headaches and migraines for well over 20 years. I used to wear one of those old school gel masks that covered your eyes and attached with a strap in the back. The problem with those is that the gel moved all around, the plastic was not at all comfortable and getting a tight fit was difficult. Additionally, depending on the location of pain, using it effectively anyway other than how it was designed was very difficult. I am also no stranger to using a bag of frozen peas for relief.I stumbled onto this product by accident while browsing Amazon and placed an order immediately. My headaches are unpredictable and I wanted to have this ready to go when the next one struck. Popped it into the freezer and waited. The first thing that impressed me is because of the design it is easy to lay flat in the freezer whereas the masks I used in the past seemed to bunch up and be uneven. This is one of those products that you hope you do not need right away, but alas, I first used it a few days later. When suffering from a migraine, I have pain both behind my right eye and at the base of my skull on the same side. Like someone it trying to pull a string through my head. I was able to angle the band so that it covered both areas at the same time, again something I was not able to do with previous products. The added advantage is that I was able to adjust the tightness of the band and counter pressure definitely helps me. I used the blue side against my skin first and then switched to the white side. The white side is considerable colder which gives you some options depending on your needs. The band stays cold for about 30 minutes. The only negative I have to offer is that I wish it remained cold for longer. 30 minutes was enough to provide relief, along with medication, but not long enough to wait out the headache. And, really, sometimes all you can do is wait it out. I will probably invest in one more band so that I can switch out and have more continuous coverage. It takes about 30-60 minutes to freeze again when needed.Although designed for headaches, I see potential use as a general ice pack in a pinch. It is long enough to be wrapped around a wrist or ankle at least twice in case of a strain or sprain.

Stays cold for well over 30 minutes!
Put this on today and wore it around for a while. It was very cold right out of the freezer, but still flexible. Not hard as a rock like some cold packs can get. It has a fabric side and a slick side. I started with the fabric side because it was so cold. It fit well and I liked the Velcro closure. Easy to use. It stayed cold on that side for a little over 30 minutes. I switched it over to the slick side which was still quite cold and wore it for another 20. That’s a long time! For anyone who suffers from migraine that’s huge! I didn’t have a full on migraine today so I can’t judge it’s usefulness for that purpose, I just had a regular headache, but it felt good and helped for that. It would also work as a way to just cool off on a hot day. I would probably buy it again though I personally would prefer something a bit larger with more coverage for full on migraine use so I didn’t give it 5 stars. If you’ve just got the beginnings of one and think you got to your meds fast enough, this would probably help prevent it from going further.

Alright, Chief, lemme spell it out for ya 🥶
Listen, I’m Mister Chronic Migraine Official ™️ over here so I am no stranger to ice packs and ice head bands. You get what you pay for and you’re getting a product that ought to cost more for how simple yet effective it is. It gets uncomfortably cold on the white plastic side (great for freezing skin off and murdering sore muscles) and then pretty cold on the blue cotton-y side for headaches and what not.Now after like a year of heavy usage the blue cotton-y band started to peel off of the headband itself, eventually leaving just the cold plastic gel filled headband. Still fine yet the exposed side where the cotton used to sit felt very fragile to pressure so be careful. Within about 6 months of use the velcro’s cotton side, not the plastic mini hooks, started to rip off and become just floaty useless strands. There might be some finesse to putting on and taking off Velcro and I guess I don’t have it so my Velcro eventually became useless towards the end of this year.I’m buying it again because for $8 or whatever you can’t beat it’s simplicity....and I stepped on mine causing it to explode out its white goop on my sock... :) oops. Also it’s great for powering through headaches when you’re working continuously on the computer for long hours.GREAT BUY FOR MONEY BUT DONT EXPECT IT TO LAST FOREVER SINCE ITS A $8 PRODUCT, CAN YOU DIG IT?

Good purchase
I forgot how much it was but I really like it. Always use the blue cushioned side first till no longer cold enough then invert to the other side for the rest of time. Total time around 40 minutes. Easy to store in freezer in zip lock bag so ready when you need it.
