This was the best small hand sickle to clear kudzu and blackberry vines from a chainlink fence gate. With a piece of PVC conduit and some hose clamps you can make a handle of any length to suit your needs. Trust me, with briars you're going to want a longer handle. The blade was made of excellent manganese steel and holds its sharp edge if you avoid fence wire, rocks, and other obstacles. A word of caution: this tool is very sharp. I did appreciate how it was designed to be sturdy as any "tool" needs to be.

Used this little guy for weeding and keeping the grass down where the Weed Wacker couldn't get too. Took grip off and put some tape on it instead because the grip would start to slip off while in use. Blade is the quality you would expect at this price point but it looks like it would take an edge from sharpening.

I used this once to harvest dragon fruit. I wash and dry after used but got rusted the last time I checked on it.

This is perfect for harvesting and cutting grass/weed and hard pruning of shrubs. The handle is comfortable to work on garden for longer time.

My wife swears by this tool. She first had one years ago when she worked for a lady who cleaned up flower gardens. Over the years she bought more until last year when the one she used was lost. This one is very sturdy, nice grip on the handle and makes quick work around the yard.

Great item for money worth. The only draw back to this tool is that the handle could be a little longer. But other than that it gets the job done for the money spend.
