Great boots!
Super nice quality! I absolutely love these boots because they’re comfortable and made of good materials. I’ve tossed out my other shoes because they feel like trash in comparison.

Solid and Handsome .. Town or Country. This is a good looking , well made boot.
I love this boot. Mexico always excels in leather making. Taking awhile to break in but good leather always does. The description says order a size SMALLER than your sneaker size but I don’t take advice well and went with my gut; I ordered the EXACT same size as my normal shoe and they fit perfect. They also have 1/2 sizes and WIDE which a quality maker will provide for a good fit. This is a very good quality boot and they look and feel great. The soles stick well on my gravel drive and I’m thinking they could do well on the barn dance floor if there’s plenty of sawdust down. I just need an invitation.. but not holding my breath.🙃

Great quality. Great looking.
I wanted a pair of suede Chelseas, watched lots of YouTube videos, read lots of posts, and settled on a pair of Dukes by Thursday Boots. Sadly, I've got a narrow foot (B width) & they just wouldn't work though I tried three different sizes & thought about using tongue pads. Having seen the quality of Thursday Boots firsthand, I decided a lacer might work for me. I settled on the President with the plain toe rather than the Captain with the cap toe because I liked the look. And the Mocha Weather Safe Suede on this pair has a great look and feel right out of the box. And being a lace up boot they fit my narrow foot well with very little heel slip even brand new. Can't wait until I get them broke in to experience them being even more comfortable. Thursday Boots are legit. I'll be buying more.

I'd love to give them 5 ⭐ BUT!
UPDATED 4-16-2024: Since March 21st until April 16 I've been breakin these things in and I can finally wear them barefoot (which means they r broken in ). That was a long time. please see later pictures of my blisters an then wearing bare foot. That was a long torturous month but I really like these boots. Obviously I do really like theses boots 👢.UPDATED 4-17-2024: yes ! They r very comfortable but that was a long "break in "period". They r finally like walkin around barefooted. I got some great leather laces as u can c in the last pictures plus if u can c I strategically placed some knots in the laces so I can tight the laces but keep the lower boot loose.I learned this trick years ago and it really helps keep my bunions from hurting, ALL DAY! LOL 😆 Hey if it works its good. Which, by the way I dont feel any pinching at all anymore with these boots. Blah blah blah give these boots 👢 a break in period and u will be satisfied. I haven't put any conditioners on them yet but now that thier broken in thats next. I suggect NOT to put conditioner OR waterproofing on these until they are broken in. U need the moisture (sweat 💦) from ur feet to help form the boot around ur feet, then do what u think is best. Im close to 70 yrs old and this is how we broke in shoes back in the 50's. We had no conditioners back then other them mink oil and let it be known that mink oil rancifies so it really stinks after only a year. thats why I dont use it. Do what u must.ORIGINAL REVIEW:The reviewers that say they don't need breaking in must wear horrible shoes. These need to be broken in. Back 30 years ago to break in our hiking boots we would either soak the boots or walk thru a river then wear them until the dried. I stil thing thats the best way but at my agr I dont want to wear wet boots for a week. Lol 😆 so I'll have to do it the painfully slow method. O well but my point is is that tjey do need to be broken in. They are not that bad but… anyway I love the style, I like the toes & body of my shoes/boots to be made of one piece. These fit the bill. Ok fit, I have mutatious feet where as my right foot is about one size smaller then the left foot and about "normal" in width. My left foot has arthritis and is like a dbl E wide. I hate my feet and I hate shoe companies that dont accommodate me. Lol 😆 right! Ha ha ha. So I must size my shoes according to my left foot. At my age my left foot is now a 11.5 EEE while my right foot is 11D. How's that for mutant feet. (Don't look at my feet in public). But anyway I did order a pair @ 12.5 wide and they fit my left foot well. A very little pinching the for 4 days now but even wearing them for just 4 hours that pinch will hopefully disappear in aweek or so since its still winter. If we were in summers heat I bet theyd break in in a week.So in other words I ordered one size up and they fit well for a EE foot . ill just wear 2 pair of socks to take up the "slop" in my rigjt shoe/boot. Im used to that. Sometimes I have to waer 3 or 4 layers of socks to fill the void in my right shoe/boot. Im used to that too.One more grip if u'll hear me out. Its semi academic but @ $200 u would think the would suply real leathe shoe laces. Ive been wearing thes for 4 hours now and I've retied the freakin bood 5 times. they don’t stay tied, I don't care it they r kevlar they r coming off and will be replaced with real leather laces. Thats just stupid to have laces constantly untieing. Now ill be buying my own laces. Im paying $30 for round leather laces so thats another "hidden" cost of these boots. (To the manufacturer) put laces on that are worthy of the boot NOT "just so they look good). A small but VERY important aspect of these (or any) boots. One more note, on the latter pics the boots have been conditiond with "regular" keather conditioner so thats why they appear darker. Not by much but they r darker. C 4 urself.

Stiff but comfy
Fit just right out of the box. A little stiff in the heel but that's to be expected. Needs a little wearing in but very comfortable otherwise. Nice look, feel, and finish. Definitely a quality item that will last some time. Already looking into another pair Thursday offers.

Well fitting, comfortable, good looking, but...
I thought it fair to post a review of these boots after a year of being my daily footwear. They have been worn nearly every work day in a mostly clean, professional environment and have approximately 500mi of wear and tear.Fit: The recommendation I had seen was to buy a half size up from your normal size, but I chose not to and that was the correct decision. For about a week, they felt a bit tight, but they quickly stretched and molded to my feet and I would say the fit is absolutely perfect.Materials: The leather is a bit fluffier than in the photos and the color, mocha, is a bit lighter. While it's not what I was expecting, it's still quite attractive. The leather and stitching have held up in their entirety.I was struck by the laces' thickness and expected them to fail quickly, but I was wrong. They are nearly in the same condition as original. The rubber sole seems to have worn normally and my only complaint would be that a different pattern would provide substantially more traction.But...: I expected to get about two years from these boots, but alas, they are at the end of life. The sole has cracked through both the rubber and leather in the transverse direction under the ball of my foot which became apparent in the last storm. While I do squat often, I would not expect this failure mode after one year. The extended cold weather may also be a contributing factor. All in all, I think they are pretty good boots, but I do have a decision to make regarding their replacement in the very near future.

Great boots that need tougher soles
These boots have a great feel, they look good, and when you walk on a hardwood floor, you sound like you own the place. But I've only had them three months, and there's a hole worn through the sole.
