I’ve been using the Govee RGBIC Floor Lamps for a few years now, and I’m currently up to five of them spread throughout my home. That alone should give you an idea of how much I love these lights. I started with one in my living room to see how I liked it, and now they’ve become a core part of my lighting setup in multiple rooms. Every time I’ve bought a new one, I’ve been reminded of how impressive these really are.First off, they look fantastic. The slim, minimalist design lets them tuck neatly into corners without taking up space or drawing attention to themselves—until you turn them on, that is. Then they become the focal point of the whole room. The RGBIC lighting is what really sets them apart. Each segment of the lamp can display different colors at the same time, which creates these smooth, dynamic lighting effects that look a lot more high-end than the price tag would suggest.The light is bright enough to set the mood in a room but never harsh. I’ve used them as ambient lighting behind furniture, accent lighting for game nights or movie time, and even just soft background light while reading or relaxing. Because of the slim profile, they work well in corners where standard lamps would look bulky or awkward. And when you have more than one in a room—or in nearby rooms—you can sync them up in the Govee app to create a coordinated lighting setup that looks incredible.Speaking of the app, it’s excellent. You get full control over colors, brightness, speed, and effects. There are tons of preset scenes to choose from, or you can dive into DIY mode and create your own patterns. You can also schedule lighting changes, sync them with music, or pair them with your other Govee devices for even more customization. I use Alexa for voice control too, and that works flawlessly.I’ve had the first lamp for about three years now, and it still performs just like it did on day one. No flickering, no color fade, no weird noises—just reliable, vibrant light. All five of mine have been consistently solid. Govee’s build quality has really impressed me across the board, and these lamps are no exception.Whether you’re decking out a gaming space, adding some personality to a living room, or just want lighting that does more than the usual on/off routine, this lamp delivers. The fact that I’ve bought five (and am honestly thinking about getting a sixth) says it all. Great value, great performance, and just a really fun, beautiful addition to any room.

I absolutely love this lamp!! This is the very first product I bought from Govee and the reason I have continued to add-on to my Govee collection. It is such a great addition to any space. The lighting in it is super customizable with the included Govee app and my personal favorite feature is that you can sync it up to any music you're playing and the lights will flash with the music. In addition to the included scenes in the app, you can customize your own scenes and create your own lighting arrangements. You can also sync the lamps up if you have more than one, or with other Govee products. It also was really easy to set up and didn't take very long to assemble.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I got this light bar to replace an older model by a different manufacturer that quit working. It was important that it be Alexa compatible, and this one is. It works perfectly, provides nice lighting and is fully customizable with the free Govee App. I have several Alexa compatible Govee products and they all work perfectly, everytime. This light bar is no exception. It took about 15 minutes to assemble, and another 5 minutes to link into Alexa. Simply using voice commands I can change colors, intensity, etc. I use it in combination with other lights to create a nice effect in my den.

I'll admit it, I'm a bit of a lighting enthusiast. I believe proper lighting is the key to setting a vibe in your room. I've been looking for something to fit my room corners, and I got these Govee wall lights, so here's my breakdown:Quality:The build quality is pretty good. I thought Govee was a bargain brand compared to those like Philips Hue, but they've come a long way.Installation:Was super easy, literally plug and play with the app.Effect:The effect they give is to shine color on your walls. This will depend on the color of your walls. I have white walls so the color reflected and diffused perfectly and elevated the vibe of my room! If you have dark walls, not sure how good this will look.Conclusion: I'm extremely happy with these lights. They were quite pricey and I think they could be cheaper for what you get which is pretty much an LED strip on a stick. Still happy with them.

I have a few of these! They’re great to set a certain tone and provide ambience. If you need something that’ll like “light up the room” this is not it. If you like low light and just need to see, go for it.

I really do like the lamp. I keep it on soft colors mostly in the corner of my living room. I set up timers with alexa to turn it on at sunset, and off at a certain time. It also comes on 10 min before my alarm and goes off 10 min after I leave for work. I experienced the same issue a couple of other people had, where the power went out and the lamp stopped working. I purchased it about 4 months ago. According to other reviews they said Govee wouldn't do anything for them as it was passed the 90 days. I did NOT have that same experience. I went to their website directly. Went to support. Clicked contact us. Scrolled to the bottom and clicked on returns and refunds and it shows a 12 month warranty on smart lamps. So I reached out and told them what the problem was. I use the order number from Amazon. They had me unplug the wires from the strip (opposite of what you do when you put it together) and leave unplugged for 10 minutes. I tried some more lights came on, but it still didn't work. I replied back to them, and they appologized and sent me a new one.
